Better than posting up ads about how to lose weight without dieting on a page about miscarriage, though.
I don't think I'm going to come out as bi right away. I might drop little hints every now and then, but it's not a huge deal to me. I'm comfortable in my skin, and that's all that matters. If people don't like it, that's their problem.
Anyone who thinks Canadians are meek and mild-mannered has obviously never seen us during Question Period!

Looks like I'm one of the few left in the closet around here. :( I keep trying to avoid it. It isn't the right time at the moment because there are other family issues going on.

Anyway, I'm really happy for you, PeachFreak and Nightshade.

Sigh... I really don't want to say this, but I think I might be bi... I kind of feel guilty about it in a way. I'm not quite sure about it though. But I have absolutely positively no intention on coming out ever. EVER.

Only my family and one trusted friend (and you guys) know about me. I'm not ready for everyone to find out yet.

btw, should Clue be added to gay people stereotypes? lol

I don't see the point in letting anybody know. Why? What are the pros? the cons almost certainly outnumber the pros for coming out, right?

I don't think so. Being comfortable with your true self is a sign of self-respect and confidence, regardless of any ridiculous backlash you may receive. Otherwise, your afraid, and being afraid will hold you back from taking risks in life.

Also getting people in a tizzy is kind of fun too.

I don't know. I think it depends on what your goals in life and the best way to go about reaching those goals.
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

I don't think one's sexuality is something that requires announcing. My point was that one should be comfortable with the truth about themselves that they won't cause self-anguish by lying about it.

I just wanted to clarify that because I reread what fendue wrote and realized he was talking about the need about letting people know, which I misunderstood the first time I read his post.

I am so glad someone else noticed the connection between CLUE and gay people, too! I, too, wonder what it is about this simple little detective game that has the same magnetic pull as a new Liza Minnelli album...or Patti LuPone/Barbra Streisand/Bette Midler/[your favorite diva]...

Solitaire is such a depressing game. But three and a half years later, I'm still playing it.

I don't think he was referring to the actual game of solitaire, i think he was using it as a metaphor.

Being alone. I suppose it could entail what you're thinking of, but I think more the notion of not having a significant other.
