TAOM Member CLUE Marmalade Multiplayer Game Host Post

Post by Murder by Death » Mon Dec 11, 2017 7:32 pm

This is the official TAOM member Clue iOS/Android Marmalade multi-player game forum hosting thread.

Once you sign up to be actively notified of any new forum hosted games, please do not post here again, unless you intend to host a game. That way, we will only receive automatic notification of any new forum hosted games, and keep those notifications to a minimum, so as not to drive us all crazy.

1) To join the fun, you'll need to buy the Marmalade Android of iOS game.
2) To be notified of forum member games, simply click the link at the bottom left corner or the thread, below the last message on the page, under the page number, entitled: "Watch this topic for replies"
3) Don't post here, unless you intend to host a game.
4) Wait for notification of a new game being hosted, note the private code, and sign into your Clue app during the play window using the code to play.
5) If you want to host a game, set it up on your app as the host, then post the private code to join and the window of availability. All members receiving notifications for this thread will be alerted, and have the option to join.

If you do not understand any of these instructions, or have any other comments, please discuss them on the Marmalade Clue Game post, so as not to send unnecessary notifications to everyone receiving them on this post.

I don't know how many of us are getting notifications from this, but I'd love to host a game between forum members.

I live in the Eastern Standard Time zone (GMT-5). I'm also, in my time zone, a total night owl, so if you're in London & want to play a game at 07:00, I'm definitely still awake at 02:00 EST.

Looking ahead, my best times to try to host a game will be:
  • Friday, 15 December, 12:00 EST
  • Saturday, 16 December, 20:00 EST (8 PM)
(Saturday night is the most flexible for me re: exact start times)

If either of these days/times work for at least two more of us, let me know & on the decided date, at the designated time, I'll set up a game & post the join code here.

(And if anyone wants to play a game when I'm up all night, that's cool too. You're all welcome to PM me for Facebook Messenger contact information if you want a more direct way to coordinate games)

And NOW I know my reply notifications were flagged as spam in my Gmail. My bad.

Anyone free tonight? To my knowledge, I have nothing going on after about 6 PM (18:00) EST.

Good news for those looking to coordinate a forum member game!
