I was in The Works (which is a British discount shop) earlier today and there were Caroline Graham books (which inspired the Midsomer Murders series).

Maybe they're in The Works near you? (Maybe.)

The one I was in had Death Of A Hollow Man, Death In Disguise, The Killings At Badger's Drift and Written In Blood.

Each one has a Forward by John Nettles who played the first Barnaby in the series.

They have colourful covers that are really cool and striking and awesome, etc.

In Death Of A Hollow Man an old-fashioned shaving razor is swapped for another one (whilst the safety tape is removed from the first razor).

Then swapped back so the intended victim commits suicide on a stage (as his character).
