Let's run out of the secret passage screaming like a little girl, and tell Sergeant Grey about mother. Lord knows that's what I'd do in this situation, being as manly as I am.

Fear sweeps over you. It is possibly a delayed side effect from the brandy that knocked you out earlier… possibly from the delayed realization that your mother’s corpse is in the very same dark hallway as you… possibly from the fact that there is a blood thirsty murderer on the loose.
You scream in a high pitched falsetto voice as you dash back to the Kitchen. You rush out to the Hall to find it completely empty.
“Where is Sergeant Gray?” You begin to panic, “I need to tell him about my mother’s body!”

You bust into the Library, startling the occupants. Inspector Pry is standing at the fireplace with a notepad in his hand, Chief Inspector Noble sits on the sofa looking at you with large brown eyes, and Miss Scarlet sits on the sofa with mascara stained cheeks.
“What the devil are you doing?” Chief Inspector Noble asks trying to prevent himself from having a massive heart attack.
“Who are you?” Inspector Pry asks

Take a second to regain your composure, then tell them about mother.

“My name is Francis Waddington,” you explain, “I found the body of my mother in the secret passage just behind that bookcase! She was murdered by my Uncle, John Boddy, years ago.”
“Good heavens.” Inspector Pry says, “Could his murder have been avenged by someone else who he’s harmed?”
Sergeant Gray claims you ran off after turning off the electricity after Mr. Boddy’s body was found.” Chief Inspector Noble says as Inspector Pry begins to search the bookcase for a level or switch.
“I was drugged earlier this evening. I’m still suffering from the long term results of the brandy.” You say, “I’m really not sure what led me to turn off the lights.”
“Ah ha!” Inspector Pry says pulling a red book as the bookcase begins to open.
Miss Scarlet glances at the two detectives, “Am I needed?”
“Please return to the Drawing Room with the others.” Chief Inspector Noble says as Inspector Pry disappears into the secret passageway.
“While Inspector Pry investigates the body, would you mind answering a few questions?” Chief Inspector Noble asks

(SIDE NOTE: If you wish to make an accusation of whodunit, where, and with what you may. You accusation will be brought up to the accused which they will have to explain their defense. There will be no penalties for guessing wrong, however if you get the killer right and the weapon or room wrong enough times then you might piss off the killer and end up dead with mummy and Uncle John. You still do have to do a bit more searching to find the room, and weapon. Though with the right comprehension the killer (or killers) should be already strongly hinted)

Since this appears to be dead would anyone like to accuse? I'll post the solution and epilogue tomorrow.

Solution

Colonel Mustard and Madame Rose kill Mr. Boddy with the Lead Pipe in the Carriage House.

Colonel Mustard has suffered in the war while the Boddy Family has lived in the peaceful countryside. Madame Rose was a war secretary who saw how the war affected those who were involved. They quickly agreed that a marriage would be the perfect cover for them all the while hating a man who could be so carefree during a time of adjustment and rebuilding. Colonel Mustard excuses himself from the Croquet Match and picks up the lead pipe from the side of the Conservatory. Madame Rose made a comment about going horseback riding with Miss Peach but hurt her ankle. However, she waited in the Carriage House for Mr. Boddy and distracts him and the Mustard hits him with the Pipe.

Epilogue

Colonel Mustard and Madame Rose stared deeply in each other’s eyes and expressed their true love and admiration for each other mere moments before they were separated into prison, never to meet again. Colonel Mustard died of a heart attack only a few months in prison due to fights and lack of nutrients. That winter Madame Rose died from pneumonia. Both of their souls may have indeed met in that land far away.

Monsieur Brunette, Mr. Green, and Professor Plum were all interrogated as to who each slave was and where they were delivered to. The list of names was discovered in piano in the Cellar. After the intensive questioning had subsided and all questions were answered, the three men were hung at the gallows.

As quick as she had arrived Miss Peach disappeared without a trace. A number of robberies in England have been recently reported with the only evidence left at the scene being the single bud of the deadly nightshade. The robberies spread to America and parts of Canada before they slowly declined in 1949.

Sergeant Gray was reunited with his daughter and they both lived with their new housekeeper, Mrs. White, who often visited her husband’s grave, begging him to forgive her for not believing in him. Mrs. White had a fall five years later which lead to a bedridden state which ended with her dying peacefully in her sleep. Sergeant Gray and his daughter lived on until 1953 when they were met with unfortunate circumstances at a train depot which ended in their demise.

Miss Scarlet moved back to Macao where she and Mrs. Peacock opened a tea shop and lived happily as two committed lovers could ever be. After Mrs. Peacock’s death Miss Scarlet decided to move on to other things and moved back to England where she opened a peaceful tranquility garden that both she and Henrietta had dreamed of. Miss Scarlet married a man named Dr. Black. Unfortunately in 1949 he was murdered. His murder was never solved but she always noticed that there was something oddly familiar about the suspects in question: a singer, a military man, a maid, a reverend, a socialite, and a scientist. Before she could express her thoughts she became ill and died rather unexpectedly.

And thus ended the lives of those ten people. Their paths met at a party in 1923 which changed their lives forever. Their story has been told, shared, and retold. Each time people pondered the true circumstances of John Xavier Boddy’s murder. “Was it really Colonel Mustard with the Lead Pipe in the Carriage House?” some people asked, “It very well could have been Mrs. Peacock in the Studio with the Wrench.” Others suggested, “Or Miss Peach with the Knife in the Library.” Others hinted. It is all what you find in those tiny grey cells. Think clearly, rationally, and always suspect the less suspected! Good luck in future mysteries… and happy hunting.
