Seeing how I'm taking a short break from my Clue Series I thought I would do a Roll Playing Game.
----------------
Introduction-
England 1923 - Noon -
The style of the Boddy Country Estate is what brings numerous people to the doorsteps trying to make John Xavier Boddy an offer that he can’t refuse. Unfortunately for them, Mr. Boddy hasn’t the heart to part with his family’s estate, or the priceless memories that exist behind those walls.
Standing at the wet bar behind the divan in the Drawing Room, John Boddy recalls the time when he was seven years old and he rammed his head into the corner of that very same wet bar. He glances in the mirror at the small scar above his eyebrow which is still visible. He then glances to the roaring fire and is flooded with memoirs of Christmas stories that were told in front of it by his dear mother as frost painted the windows. He then looks over to the baby grand piano in the window alcove and remembers when he was seventeen and played his first recital in front of relatives and family friends. He smiles and pours himself a brandy as Shadow, the family cat brushes against his legs with a gentle meow. There is absolutely no way that John Xavier Boddy will ever want to part with this dear home… however in several hours he may not have a choice…
Sitting across the room, near the piano, at the bridge table, with a long black cigarette filter between her ruby red lips, is the most exotic, oriental beauty you will ever lay eyes on. Miss Mei Scarlet sits proudly with her cards neatly organized in her hand. Her long red fingernails, diamond engagement ring, and ruby bracelet are being eyed be the greedy businessman sitting to her left. Mr. Thallo Green has a special talent of being able to count how many rings, bracelets, earrings, and pocket watches are in the same room as him within five seconds of entry. He is smoking a cigar while carefully choosing his next move; there is a lot of money on the line after all. Sitting on his left is a very tall and manly figure, unfortunately for this person, she is Mrs. Henrietta Peacock. She is wearing a light blue pantsuit with a pearls wrapped tightly around her throat. Her beady eyes continue to glance from side to side as the game continues on. Sitting between she and Miss Scarlet and across from Mr. Green is a balding man with a pipe in his mouth. He is wearing a brown suite and a ghastly puce colored tie. He is Professor Edgar Plum. He tends to make small facial twitches and quick movements with his cards which draws the attention of Miss Scarlet.
Mr. Boddy walks around the divan from the wet bar and takes a seat. Shadow jumps up on his lap as he takes a drink of brandy. Sitting on the divan across from him is an elderly man and a bejeweled gypsy. They are Colonel Algernon Mustard and Madame Rhoda Rose. Both have become recently engaged. Despite the obvious contrast of a gaudily dressed fortune teller and a proper military hero, there is a certain sense of happiness about them.
Sitting at the piano, looking through some sheet music and playing several chords every so often is a tall dark man with a thick mustache. He has a cigarette in his mouth and he is deeply concentrating on his finger positions. He is Monsieur Alphonse Brunette.
You are Mr. Francis Waddington, nephew of John Xavier Boddy. He has invited you to his Country Estate on the pretense of discussing some pressing matters that he daren't disclose in the letter.

The Drawing Room remains active with the murmurs from the bridge table and the occasional plunk of piano keys. Merry laughter and overall contentment is prevalent throughout the room.

“So, Uncle Boddy,” You sit next to him on the divan, “What is the occasion for inviting us all here?”
“To celebrate and meet new friends!” Mr. Boddy smiles
“New friends?” Madame Rose is curious, “I thought everyone here knew each other.”
“Well, there is an additional guest coming.” Mr. Boddy says with a bit of mystery in his voice, “I’m actually looking forward to everyone meeting her.”
“Her?” Colonel Mustard is intrigued, “So it’s a lady that’s coming.”
“Oh, you’ll find out soon enough anyway.” Mr. Boddy says, “It’s my long lost great step niece Georgia!”
“Neice?” you are curious to this new information, seeing how you always thought of yourself as Mr. Boddy’s only relative and potential heir.
“Yes, she showed up on my doorstep the other day without a suitcase on her.” Mr. Boddy says, “She told me that she came all the way from America looking for me.”
“This wouldn’t have anything to do with the investments that you’ve had luck with since the war?” asks Colonel Mustard clenching his jaw tightly
“Merely a coincidence.” Mr. Boddy says, “But then again, good things come from even the nastiest wars.”
Colonel Mustard stands up rather angrilly, “Excuse me, Rhoda, Francis, I need some air. I think I’ll be at the Gazebo.”
“Are you alright dear?” asks Madame Rose
“All this talk of war has me feeling rather anxious.” Colonel Mustard says exiting the Drawing Room.
“I hope it wasn’t something I said.” Mr. Boddy finishes his brandy
“The war has affected so many precious lives.” Madame Rose says, “Dear Algernon just wishes to rebuild and move forward.”

You stand up from the sofa and walk over to the bridge table. You walk around near the windows and stand next to Miss Scarlet.
“How do you know my uncle?” you ask rather blatantly
“Excuse me?” Miss Scarlet asks
“I think what that young boy was asking,” Mrs. Peacock clears her throat, “Is how someone with your intoxicating, Asian beauty happened to stumble upon this side of the world.”
“Err, yes.” You respond
“I met Mr. Boddy at a night club in Macao, if you must know.” Miss Scarlet says, “Several months later I saw his name as the most eligible bachelor in the Society of Fortune Hunters Quarterly and decided to try my luck at winning his heart.”
“And his money.” Professor Plum coughs subtly
“No,” Miss Scarlet glares at Professor Plum, “I’m not a common gold digger. I love Mr. Boddy!”
“Yet you refer to him as Mr. Boddy.” Professor Plum says
“Mr. Boddy loves me and I love him!” Miss Scarlet says defensively
“I can’t see what you see in that man.” Mrs. Peacock says, “Or any man for that matter. My husband Charles died at the right moment in my opinion.”
“You two disgust me.” Miss Scarlet scowls standing up and throwing her cards in the center of the table
“Oh I didn’t mean to upset you.” Mrs. Peacock coos, “Sit down and finish our little game. You are the best partner I’ve had in a long time.”
“I didn’t mean to cause a fuss,” you apologize, “I was just a bit nosy.”
“I see why you would be.” Miss Scarlet says in a hushed tone
“Oh?” your curiosity is peaked.
“He’s changing the will because some American girl came here five days ago.” Miss Scarlet says
“There’s nothing wrong with American girls.” Mr. Green says in his distinct Boston accent.
“It is when she’s a gold digging shrew.” Miss Scarlet says
“Irony.” Professor Plum says
“You are the meanest man I know!” Miss Scarlet stands up angrilly again, “You always insult me everything I see you!”
“Mei,” Mr. Boddy stands up from the divan where he is talking to Madame Rose.
“I cannot stand him.” Miss Scarlet says storming out of the Drawing Room.
“And zen zere were seven.” Monsieur Brunette chuckles from the piano.

“Professor,” you say slyly, “Do you have secret feelings for Miss Scarlet?”
Mrs. Peacock shifts uncomfortably in her seat and stares at Professor Plum awaiting his response.
“Certainly not!” Professor Plum says with a scowl, “I am completely disgusted by the way immigrants come into our lives and take what we’ve rightfully worked after. It’s a foolish thing for Mr. Boddy to let her stay here unemployed.”
“So I’m taking it that you are all for slave work?” Mr. Green asks
“I wouldn’t think of her as a slave,” Professor Plum says, “But if she is going to be in the country she should at least make some effort to prove her worth. All she has done since she met Mr. Boddy is leech off of him.”
“I distinctly remember you begging him for five grand to fund you little expedition in Egypt last summer.” Mr. Green says blowing his cigar smoke out on the last word of his sentence.
“I don’t need to take criticism from a greedy American businessman with an ethically questionable background.” Professor Plum says
“I take it we won’t be finishing our game of bridge.” Mrs. Peacock steps away from the table and joins Madame Rose and Mr. Boddy in the center of the Lounge.
“Monsieur,” Monsieur Brunette approaches Professor Plum, “Perhaps joo may feel more calm if joo keep your rash judgment to yourself, no?”
“Save it,” Mr. Green says, “I’m not sure he’ll listen to anyone who isn’t a full blooded British man.”
“I am a very knowledgeable gentleman!” Professor Plum says, “I teach at the University of Oxford!”
“Maybe you should learn about tolerance.” Mr. Green says, “Care for a game of billiards, Alphonse?”
“Zat sounds enticing.” Monsieur Brunette says
“What happened to the merriment.” You mutter to yourself.

You walk over to the spot on the floor where Shadow is busy playing the cello. Gently you brush your hand against the cat. You notice as you do so that there are numerous scars and scratches underneath the cat’s jet black fur. Either this little rascal gets into fights with the barn cats that roam in and out of the Carriage House or someone has an animal abusive streak in them.

“Madame Rose,” you step away from Shadow, “How was it that you and Colonel Mustard met?”
“I was a war secretary.” Madame Rose says, “After the war I had watch so many lives being shattered that I wanted to help out as many soldiers as I could.”
“That’s why she asked me to hire Sergeant Gray as a handyman around the house.” Mr. Boddy adds in
“Yes,” Madame Rose says, “I couldn’t quite find the war hero though, Colonel Algernon Mustard. He went missing and no one knew where he went.”
“I actually had him staying here with me.” Mr. Boddy says, “He needed a peaceful place in the country that wasn’t affected by the war and I offered it to him.”
“When John informed me that he was here I made my usual run to visit him and thank him for his great service.” Madame Rose explains, “When I did we connected immediately. Past live connection? Perhaps. But it was very strong and very powerful. Shortly after talking about our loneliness and how the war affected us he asked me to marry him.”
“Didn’t Colonel Mustard hold a grudge to you at that time?” Professor Plum asks Mr. Boddy
“For a short while.” Mr. Boddy says
“I can’t see why he would.” Mrs. Peacock comments
“Well I’m a perfectly fit and athletic man.” Mr. Boddy explains, “I am also quite the marksman. He was offended that I didn’t serve our country.”
“I believe,” Professor Plum clears his throat, “His exact words were: ‘Why should innocent helpless teenagers fit for our country while a rich, lazy cat just enjoys merlot and cheap escorts?’ I assume he was referring to Miss Scarlet.”
Mrs. Peacock rolls her eyes.
“Anyway,” Madame Rose speaks over him, “To sum it up, we were both involved in the war and we both needed each other. Love is blossoming as we speak.”
“You should never commit until love is truly and fully there.” Mrs. Peacock says, “I made that mistake with too many disgusting greedy men.”

“Uncle,” you ask with caution, “Who is the American girl you’re changing your will too?”
“Your new cousin,” Mr. Boddy says, “Georgia. She should be here around 2 o’clock.”
Just then the clock on the mantel strikes 1.30.
“Goodness,” Mr. Boddy says, “She should be here soon.”
“Croquet anyone?” Mrs. Peacock suggests
“It’s already set up in the Courtyard.” Mr. Boddy says as the four vacate the Drawing Room, leaving only you and Shadow.

You realize that aside from the cat you are completely alone. What a perfect opportunity to do a little snooping. Searching the cushions you come across a small note that reads “Meet me in the Studio, M.”
You pocket the curious little note and proceed to the drawers. There is nothing noteworthy other than the pepperbox revolver in the drawer of the table nearest the door. You leave that there as to not want to be accused of stealing. Moving along, you being to examine the paintings. Very beautiful Monet's. You realize that one to the right of the fireplace is oddly positioned in the corner. Upon closer inspection you find that it opens to a secret passage.
“How interesting,” you think to yourself, “I wonder where this leads.”

You exit the Drawing Room and are greeted by the blinding afternoon sunlight that pours in through series of French windows leading out to the Courtyard. A white piano glistens near the back of the hall where an elderly housekeeper dusts it. She is Mrs. Blanche White.
“Good afternoon, Mr. Waddington.” She greets you politely
