Why can't I find this reported anywhere else?

Hmmm... this seems strange. Why would they do this now after all these years? Unless they're trying to capitalize on the new movie remake, but I'd think that would cause more confusion than Yvette stuffing Mr. Boddy in the toilet. Is there any word on the release date for the new Clue movie?
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

La-La-Land Records specializes in "rarities," as it were. Lots of older films (particularly from the 80s) that are cult favorites, etc.

That's fantastic! And thank you very much :)

Only ... why can't I pre-order it?

I LOVE this! Would be great marketing! Too bad it wasn't an October release. That seems to make the most sense to co-incide with Halloween. Clue was just recently shown at a screening in Los Angeles for the 25th anniversary. Check out page 6 of this PDF http://www.landmarktheatres.com/filmcal ... 5_0108.pdf It looks like there have been several screenings around the country. Check your local theaters, you never know when you may receive an invitation to a theater near you!

Well, it's not Clue, but I had forgotten about this Fun Gene Wilder movie "Haunted Honeymoon" that Morris did the score for as well. It is being released Nov. 22.

So I'm hoping that they are going to release Clue in December, the same month the film came out. It will have to be early December if there is to be any hope of having it delivered by Christmas.

I've been to a couple of the LA shows. Even one when Jonathan Lynn showed up. I forgot completely about it this year, though. I wonder if anybody else from the movie went in light of the anniversary.

Clue to be released before the end of this or first quarter 2011!!

http://www.lalalandbb.com/phpBB3/viewto ... ?f=3&t=329

I just got back from Target today and was very disappointed. I walked through the DVD section and not one copy of Clue, in any category - comedy, family, kids ... Nowhere to be found. That's just really insulting for the 25th anniversary of a groundbreaking, landmark, cult classic. They have the HD transfer now, why not release it on Blu-Ray to commemorate, even if there are no special features? One can only hope it will happen after the fact, with all the goodies we've been hoping to see - the fourth ending, behind the scenes, deleted scenes, etc., along with John Morris' brilliant soundtrack release ...

Fantastic! I just ordered mine. It's expensive for sure, but such a limited run, only 3,000 copies.

The best part is that it sheds some light on the movie, as it includes several cues that were not in the final film! It also contains liner notes and commentary by Jonathan Lynn!!
