Not bad. I hear so many of my own words coming back at me, and general musings from other on this formula. Our collective contributions to the history of this game both here and around the web have definitely made this video possible.

I was watching this and I caught a glimpse at the layout at 0:25 - Is it me or is the map very similar to the one that Jamie made once for one of his mysteries?

Google "jean alexander cluedo"

In the Images section, scroll down to see a photo of Jean Alexander (Mrs Hunt) with Joanna Lumley (Mrs Peacock).

Another photo I hadn't seen until recently.

DO NOT BE TOYING WITH ME RIGHT NOW

(runs away to Google this phenomenon)

Okay, all I've managed to find is a blank listing on Barnes and Noble's website. I need more, people! Let's find this thing!

Alright, apparently all of my local B&N stores have it in stock. Guess what I'm buying tomorrow?!

Alway Peacock:
It may be my first post but I’ve been lurking for ages. I’m as serious as all of you. I’ve play Clue/Cluedo since the Fourth Grade (I’m now 26). I don’t joke about this! I already have a copy. It’s okay. It’s just a copy and pasted of the 80’s edition. Would be nice if Hasbro would do a revamp with the full set of 12 Marmalade character. Why twelve instead of ten? If you have a bigger house you need a housekeeper to keep it! #BringBackWhite

Can you post some photos of it? I've no doubt it exists. I just can't fin anything out there about it. What I'm really curious to know is if it's as large as the original, or if they've scaled it down for this reprinted edition.

Ooh, fantastic! I don't love the plastic pawns, but since Winning Moves already uses that style for their Classic edition, I can understand why they kept it simple for themselves. I do miss the extra writing space on the notepad, but, really, what they've done with it makes a LOT more sense for most players (are they double sided, btw?). Wish the dice were clear, and after I get my copy I'll probably swap out the dice for a different set. The minor cosmetic changes to the logo (never liked the torn paper look of the original) look good to me, and the magnifying glass they've added on the cover blends with the original design well enough. Finally, I'm very happy to see the weapons have been properly reproduced for this one.

I'm sold. Grabbing myself a copy before work.

Well we should have seen it coming. They used the Master Detective "mini" weapons for the Silver Lines edition. While they had the moulds out why not reprint Master Detective.

The one thing I do like about the pawns is Madame Rose and Miss Peach are more distinguishable. The originals were both so pale it was hard to tell the difference between them.

Also Notebooks are single sided. Which I think is redundant. why have two on one side, and leave the other blank. You don't have anymore play longevity then the originals so why no make the oversized ones.

I loved the wooden pawns of the original. I wish they’d have updated the game a bit more instead of a straight re-issue. This was my first Clue game and I studied it inside and out when I was a kid. I look forward to checking it out for any differences now!
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

I was kind of hoping for updated art or something (fool that I am). I do agree that its great to see Miss Peach and Mme. Rose are more distinguishable.

Peacock, will you please start a proper thread for this?

Very disappointed in what I've seen so far.

Theory: Maybe the real reason why everyone, including Boddy, acts insane is because literally every pipe in the building is made of lead...

Haha ... Brilliant!

Here's the solution: Mr. Boddy was killed with the lead pipe, slowly over time by lead poisoning, LOL

I had a Clue theory where the suspects are insane, the Mansion is actually an asylum, and Dr. Black is the head doctor. Through delusion, they cling to their former selves, unable to stay together in front of the good doctor.

What if every incarnation of Clue actually takes place in a different dimension? That's why everyone has a variety of jobs, Mr. Boddy is either the sweetest man ever or the worst bully you would ever meet, and one day Prof. Plum looks like Doctor Who, while the next he's Ducky from NCIS.
