I'm truly sorry that you are struggling with that. It must be really tough. I'm sorry if we have done something to upset you. But like Black said you aren't obligated to stick around if the forum is causing you so much stress.

As has been pointed out, nobody's forced to be part of any (ANY) online forum. I, for one, enjoy having a place where I can geek out about Clue (assuming there's something to geek out over, which in recent years really hasn't been much, thanks Hasbro). I'm pretty sure I was 11 or 12 when I started posting here. In the 10+ years since then, there's been far fewer new Clue products to get excited about, and I'm fairly certain most of the oldest members just don't have the time anymore to devote to the kind of long, drawn out (and often weird) forum games we used to play.

As to the first part, don't leave yourself untreated for too long. I and many of my friends suffer a range of mental illnesses, so I know how full well how draining it can be. I've also seen firsthand the effects of poor mental health management, and they're not pretty. I've had to learn to take care of myself first & foremost, then deal with other priorities, because if I'm not well I'll either get nothing done, or I'll feel completely overwhelmed by any task & STILL get nothing done.

Back on a more Clue related note: I think I've finally come up with a way to play an advanced game using the board from the DVD game. My only issue is not having many people readily available to test it out. If I posted the rules on here, would anyone care to read over them (possibly even put them to use in an actual play through) and give some feedback/suggestions?

Just played Murder Trivia Party and there was a Clue question (which I was forced to get wrong)

Q. Which of these weapons did NOT appear in the 2008 board game Clue: Discover the secrets (not word for word but you get the idea)

1. Flashlight
2. Dumbbell
3: Trophy
4: Poison

I recently came across this fun little app on the phone called iM Detective.

The game is very similar to Clue. A murder has taken place at a local Park and it's your job to solve where at the park the murder took place, what was the weapon and who committed the murder.

The is a tutorial on how to play - for veteran Clue players like us, it's very simple to learn but there are new mechanics.

Also there is plenty of replay value as you can unlock different costumes for the characters.

Here's the link in case you are interested - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theIm.imDetective&hl=en

I've thought of doing a text version of the CD-I/PC Cluedo games (with original stories, of course) that I could bundle together for people to download and solve (without needing my confirmation as all the evidence would be there to make eliminations).

Transcripts of the room scenes, the suspects' alibis, the butler's evidence, extra evidence by the suspects and their weapons' evidence.

Maybe I'll think of a good story that gives each suspect a motive, etc.

Today while thrift shopping, I found Cluedo: The Great Museum Caper for $4, with all the pieces still there and in good condition Very Happy

I also found the 1984 edition of Travel Cluedo for $2 at another thrift store, but half the pieces were missing and the box was all mildewy so I left it there...

I love the museum caper game. That's probably the one I played the most growing up. I wonder if we can make a forum game out of it...

I know that we don't really like the Discover The Secrets game much on this forum but I found this and it does look impressive. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/121035

I saw that Swedish montage yesterday.

The uploader told me he/she didn't have full episodes.

I want to see the rest of the series if possible.

Surely there are Swedes who have the missing episodes but don't know how to, etc.

I would ask TV4 to put them up as gesture of goodwill (with subtitles) but they probably wouldn't.

Argh! XD

My guess was that it might have been a tribute for the actor passing or something along those lines. But ALL of the main cast from the Swedish series are still alive.

I just had a thought, Not counting the movie, only the various TV series - Was Mrs. Peacock NEVER responsible for a woman's murder and I'm just talking about the main victims?

Plum and Peacock did not kill any women.

Mustard and Scarlett had two female kills each.

The dining room was rarely the murder room in any of the TV series.

The Library was only used once in the British series.
