I hope I do better with the cases than last time Jamie did a big Clue series, I took part in 4/8 cases and only won 1
Case 1 - I knew the killer but my opponent got there before me
Case 2 - I missed a key clue and bumbled around
Case 6 - Didn't even suspect the killer, Weapon and Room I knew but the person who did it was very low on my list

I've recently rewatched the UK series and also the French ones and they have revived my enthusiasm for mysteries and I'm working on a new set of TV mysteries using the Sims. Keep your eyes peeled!
OMG! Amazing! That takes me back! I'll def. keep my eyes peeled :D
:D First mystery is done, but I want to get 2 or 3 ready in advance. It's a lot of work! Writing the story, playing around in Sims to get the pictures. I'm having a bit of fun with that, as I don't know the killer until I write half of the story and then let the suspects run loose around the house acting it out. Discovered today how to kill a Sim. Fun!

That's a thought, to those who write their own Clue/Cluedo stories - When do you decide who is going to be the murderer?

For me, it's more or less near the start. I come up with the title for the mystery -> The Summary about the story -> Victim's name -> Suspect's Motives and after writing the 6 or 8 motives for the mystery is when I decide WHO did it. What and Where I decide later on

In the past, I have set out writing with everything mapped out from the start if I've had a good idea. But I feel that sometimes I'm focused too much on the solution from the start, however with these, I like the fact that I don't know, I'm finding that I'm fleshing things out more and that ideas come to me while I'm writing and take the story in an unexpected direction.

Jamie, that's great news but I assume the bots will blight the threads. I hope they don't dishearten your efforts.

If any one has a copy of the German Cluedo episode "Machtwechsel in Schloß Leonberg",

please email Thomas (who I'm asking on behalf of) at cluedo1992@gmx.de - thank you.

I don't but I think I can take a wild guess as to what the solution to that episode is

Ok, I need two players for my new TV series game. I'm doing sign-ups on here as I want the first few posts on the new thread to be the rules, map etc and be at the start for easy reference. The only thing I ask is for people who will be around fairly regularly to keep it moving. Who wants to play?

I'm always in for one and here daily, if there aren't enough players wanting to compete I'm in!

I think I mentioned it before BUT when it comes to the CD-Rom version of Clue - it's not David Healy voicing Professor Plum and it turns out that I am half correct. When the Professor talks about the weapons, it's Healy's voice BUT when it comes to his alibi and statement, it's someone else talking. This could be due to the fact that the game was released in 1996 and Healy died in 1995 - have a listen for yourself

If anyone is looking. Barns and nobles restocked on Master Detective. And they have a new version of Dungens & Dragons Clue with the 2011 board with new suspects, weapons, and rooms

I really wish they’d update MD, instead of just a straight re-issue. I’m not talking anything elaborate, just refreshing the color schemes, like they did with other boards like the 1950s and 1960s re-issues. Just more modern colors would do it.

I'd like a master detective with Orchid. Like having White, brunette, Gray, and Rose or possibly new characters for brown, gray, and orange. With them adding Brunette from the App game in Guess Who Clue. Their might be some hope.
