Looks interesting, but FOUR suspects?

I wonder which ones they decided to dump!?

Was it Colonel Mustard in the conservatory with the revolver? Or perhaps the culprit was Miss Scarlet, or one of the other four suspicious-looking guests!

I'n not too crazy about it either. They MIGHT be able to pull it off, but probably it will be the Clue Characters in a CSI episode.

It could work, I suppose.

I can't really say I like the idea of modernizing it, but we'll just have to wait and see how the final product looks.

At least it looks like they're moving away from the latest art style, which I never really liked.

I don't see what's wrong with modernizing Clue, at all. I've been wanting them to for quite some time.

Every decade has fit Clue into that decade's style, so I don't have a problem with our decade doing it too.

I actually like the cover art. It can't be any worse than what we've got right now, right?

The version of clue my cousins have is terrible. I'm not sure whether it's the 2002 version, but the artwork was quite ghastly. Not to mention I hated the Prof. Plum and Mr. Green in there. I never thought I'd say this, but the box cover of this one is worse than that one!

I'm pretty sure they will change the box artwork. I think this is just a prototype.

Here is a link to a Spanish Hasbro site. From my research, it's the only Hasbro site that already lists the game. It's also strange that they have the 2002 suspects. Maybe they will use them again after all...

I have no problem with modernization either. I'm alright with cellphones, computers and all that jazz, but they still must retain some sort of the classicness of the game.

Yeah, i mean if they are going overboard with the whole mansion looking like a computing store, then I'll have a problem.

I don't mind the modern feel at all. It's just the box feels less than enticing. It looks like a bad 80's game you'd find in a thrift store.

Miss Scarlet (I can only assume it's Miss Scarlet, anyway), obviously is the eye catching part of the board. She's given a large picture and on the right side, making her the most prominent thing there. However, there is nothing to tell us that this is in fact Miss Scarlet. A hint of a red necklace, but that's it. A large mansion is in the center, but looks a bit more like a hotel. Also, it is incredibly dark. The close up of the martini glass is very elegant, but it makes this look more like a dinner party game. Just the entire thing doesn't feel right to me. Like I said, it looks like a cheap looking box.

That being said, I do like the dark red background on Scarlet's picture, and I look forward to seeing new live suspects again.
