Mr. Boddy (Dash Shaw’s Clue: Candlestick)
3rd August, 1972?
Birmingham, England.

I suspected that Clue Candlestick is set in the 1970s, since some of the characters are based on the 70s edition and 70s fashion/hairstyles. As for Birmingham, Mr. Boddy gave Mrs. Peacock a book on secret passages in turn for the Candlestick in Issue #3. In the book, there’s a stamp from the Birmingham Library in the cover.
