Oh, it's England. Croquet on the lawn, tea in silver teapots, sherry before dinner. One simply has to maintain one's standards!

My name depends on who you are and what you want to call me. For the mot part, I'm Sammy. A close second is Sam, followed by the few who can get away with just my last name, Gresham. Professionally, I plan to go by my middle name, David, because I find that it rolls off the tongue better when reading it (as in off a marquee or in a playbill).

I'm just Andrew. I've never really been anything else. But then again, I've always had friends that were Drew, Andy, etc. Of the nicknames, I think I like Drew the best, although I've never been called that. Oh, wait...in third grade I was called AJ (my middle name's John) but that didn't last long, lol. I got sick of it and went back to Andrew.

Why is it that some of those inital-names just don't work? imagine a kid called SD, or TT, or PP!

Random: I know a guy whose initials are PMS.

Matthew means gift of God. Ugh.

I don't mind my name really, but it's meaning is so bland.

Not mention that St Matthew was the patron saint of tax collectors, bankers, accountants and bookeepers.

Elias. Funny story about that name. My dad and his sister always loved that name and whoever had the kid first would get to name it that. My dad won. My mom wasn't too pleased with that name so I got three middle names to make up for it. Fortunately two of those middle names were dropped and only appear on my birth certificate.

My name is Bonny, which I cannot stand. In most places, like this one, I'm known by my initials.
