I love Murder, She Wrote. I think Angela is actually British. Brilliant pic, there Michael! Lucky you. :) Hope you enjoyed it.

Yes, she's British. It's pretty well known.

BTW, Michael, I never saw this thread! I think I beat you on Angela Lansbury fandom, and I even have a better pic! ;)

Bend... AND SNAP!
Lucky you! That's one of my favourite movies! :D
I wish I could go see it, but sadly, my family does not have a million dollars and therefore does not have the luxury of going wherever we want whenever we feel like it. :(
I recall visiting New York once a couple years ago and thought it was a great city to visit. The sad thing was, this visit was eight months before 9/11...
Anyone who thinks Canadians are meek and mild-mannered has obviously never seen us during Question Period!

Well, I really just revived the thread to talk about Legally Blonde, but since the topic has moved back...

I have an signed letter from Angela Lansbury thanking me for being a fan and discussing the end of Murder She Wrote.

Top that!

Gentlemen, no need to argue over who likes her best. I'd rather not get involved here.

I would love to meet her in person :)

She seems so nice, but I wouldn't say I love her the most!

You're right. But still, I'm leaving it at here. I don't really want to fight over who likes her best. You can never help yourself can you, Matthew. Just kidding. :)

Help myself over Angela Lansbury? I'm not really into the GILF. But nevermind then.

I enjoyed her performance in Sweeney Todd I will add though.

I can't, but my chemistry teacher from high school certainly could. She grew up in New Jersey, and was always going into the city to see shows. She saw something Lansbury was in and decided to write her a letter to her home address overseas. This led to a long pen-pal relationship between my future chemistry teacher and Miss Lansbury. Whenever Lansbury was in NYC to do a show, she always sent tickets to my teacher (really, really good seats) and would often get to meet her backstage after a performance. My teacher got to see Lansbury in the first revival of Gypsy from the front row.

Now, beat that! :)

Well, I just got back from Legally Blonde the Musical. I'm sooo glad I went to see it. The show was so much fun! The music was pretty good, but none of the songs stand alone so I doubt I'll listen to the cast recording much (even though I bought it...)

Yea, the music isn't really that interesting. My sister is going to see it next May, so she overprepared and bought the soundtrack in July... I keep wondering if the songs that are really loud or if she's playing them really loud to annoy me... Probably the latter since I've been listening to Les Miserables obsessively all summer. :D

Odd you should say that. Tum thought the songs were all loud too. Usually there are so many people singing and they all seem to be trying to upstage on another.
