I try to come on as much as I can but I don't post as much as I should.

Excuse me, but what exactly is the point of this post? I'm not sure what good it does to create a post that basically is just you patting yourself on the back saying "Look at me, I post alot." and singling out members who don't.

You ask why some members register and then either never post, or post infrequently. I honestly don't see what business it is of anyone's to be concernced with that.

As for me, if anyone wants to know why I registered, it's because I've known Mike (the site owner) online for years. I myself am creator of the older Clue website The World of Clue, which at one time was the only other big site aside from Paul's site. I have been an active member of the Clue community for years and certainly feel that I have made my contributions and have NO need to be questioned over it.

The reason I registered here was because Mike asked me to, plain and simple. I was happy to do it, but I have personally moved on from the period in my life when I devoted much of my time to this. I have a career, and a relationship, and those things take alot of my time. People have often asked why I don't update my site anymore, and that's why and frankly- I don't intend for it to change.

Honestly, I check in here now and then, but too often I see posts like this which I find a complete waste of time. Again, I have nothing to prove. I've made my mark in the Clue world, and am perfectly happy with it. What I don't need is anybody questioning why I or anybody else for that matter isn't posting every minute that they can on this or any other similar forum. It's simply none of your business. I shared my reason because I wanted to, but nobody has to right to demand the reasons. It's completlely off putting and the kind of attitude that seriously keeps me away from posting more often.

And again, MY point is that it's none of your business.

I'd also cite the extreme immaturity of some of the forum users as to why I don't personally post, if you really must know.

Honestly, it's not at all your place to dictate that. If Michael so wishes to implement a rule stating that all registered users must actively participate, that's his right to do so. You, however, do not have that right and it really is not an attitude that encourages people to post more.

Heh...

There are members of this forum who know me personally quite well indeed, and I'm sure they could tell you that I don't give a second thought to being in any sort of "Top Ten," thank you very much. Like I said, I proved my status in the Clue community a LONG time ago, and it's past me.

I have no desire/time to be hashing out useless words with immature kids. I think if you start to look at your postings and some of the others here and see exactly what kind of attitude you're projecting, you'll see why other people don't post so much.

I tried pointing this out a while ago, but got torn a new a**hole about it.

So I just make stuff and post it, answer a random trivia question and leave the B.S. to the kids.

I am so glad I am not alone.

Geez, I guess I must be one of the old timers at 34 -- but still in that 18-34 key demographic (for now).

34!?!?!? HOLY CRAP YOU'RE OLD!!

Just kidding. You are older than our moderator, but I guess all message boards get people like that. Welcome to the boards and enjoy yourself.

BTW: How do you find time at 34 to hang around a board game website?
