I've always been a fan of long stories with long journeys. The post 2002 games really fleshed out our colorful friends

I still remember the feeling when I found FX at Toys R Us. I was so excited by the prospect of new characters. The only characters I'd known at that time were the MD extras. I accepted Azure, Lavender, Rusty, and the Meadow-Brooks with glee and valued (and still value) them as much as I do the originals. For me, they've become a Clue staple simply because they fit the murder suspects archetypes so uniquely without repeating what has been done and without coming off as one-note personalities in correctly colored apparel.
For me, the cast works best in diversity when:
Miss Scarlet........... The Femme Fatale
Colonel Mustard........... The Struggling Alpha
Mrs. White........... The Domestic
Mr/Rev Green........... The Mobster/Crook
Mrs. Peacock........... The Widow-Socialite
Professor Plum........... The Mad Scientist
Miss Peach........... The "Good Girl"
M. Brunette........... The Con Artist
Mme Rose........... The Fortune Teller
Sgt Gray........... The Cop
Lord Gray........... The Aristocrat
Lady Lavender........... The Exotic Enigma
Prince Azure........... The Foreign Power
Rusty........... The Groundskepper
Mrs. Meadow-Brook........... The Busybody
