1972 models

Post by krapenc » Tue Nov 21, 2017 8:57 pm

Hey everyone!

Does anyone have any information on who the models are on the cover and cards of the 1972 edition?

I have reached out to Kedakai Turner Lipton -- wife of James Lipton -- who sits as Miss Scarlet, and she mentioned Garnett Smith was also in the photo shoot. Smith confirmed that he sat as Professor Plum.

Neither of them know the names of any of the other models.

Smith said that the photographer was such a pro, that the shoot lasted less than two hours. It was 45 years ago, but he was pretty sure the shot was done at The Oriental Club in Manhattan, but I can't find anything about that location on the inter webs.

Your thoughts are appreciated!

There are some who suspect Walter Covell modelled as Mustard, as he did for the Clue VCR game.
