Based on the tweets and comments I've read (so far), it seems Crooked House is a hit.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Crooked House is a better film than Branagh's Murder on the Orient Express - but MOTOE makes more money than CH.

Just got this news, Crooked House will be a TV adaption for next month on Channel 5. I was really looking forward to it but now I have got a bad feeling that it might be rubbish. http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/news/a8442 ... witterpost

I just watched it. I guessed the killer correctly but the ending shocked me, did it end like that in the book?

I didn't watch the Crooked House film.

(I assume it was the same killer as in the book.)

In the book, the killer is killed in a quarry when E drives them both into it.

E kills the killer to protect the rest of the family.

The killer in the book left behind a diary of notes explaining their actions.

Yeah, the same ending as in the film

Just watched the Glen Close movie on the plane. It's really very well done. The cast is fantastic, the cinematography is amazing.

Maybe it was trying to watch such a subtle and complicated movie on a plane, but I found it to be somewhat plodding and slow. The ending seemed to come out of nowhere, all of it, not just the final moments, and all of the setup kind of pointless. I should rewatch it.

But I found it to be very Clue-like. It made me wonder about a Clue edition with a children as part of the cast. That's not likely to ever make a mainstream game edition, but this movie made it an exciting prospect in my mind.

I got this movie for Christmas. It's really good; I've yet to see an Agatha Christie film adaptation that didn't deliver. Having not read the book I was way off on guessing who the murderer was. Definitely has an emotional climactic ending.
