I suppose we have to reserve judgement until its published, but personally I don't think anyone could ever (or should even try to) come close to the genius of Christie, and so it will be a major let down.

As a "quote" I'm not thrilled with it. Sounds like a Big Four (sequel?) like plot :cry: Wait and see... for the readers to spoil it :lol:

Bought this yesterday, read the first two chapters last night, I haven't got any further than the preview above so can't add more to it yet.

I bought The Monogram Murders when it was about half-price in a Tesco. What Sophie Hannah wrote of Poirot (etc.) in that, I wasn't interested. It was about multiple deaths in a hotel...
