You enter the Hall to see your uncle furiously exit the Studio. Miss Peach is descending the stairs.
“Uncle John?” you ask
“Don’t you dare go into that room.” He points to the Studio with a shaking hand and visible tears, “Ruined!”
“Are ya’ll okay?” asks Miss Peach as she approaches, “I’d hate to go horseback riding while my favorite uncle has the blues.”
Mei is cheating on me.” Mr. Boddy says walking towards the Drawing Room, “Everything was perfect.”
He paces back and forth ringing his hands.
“I… I’m not sure what to say.” You stammer
“Ya wanna go horseback riding?” Miss Peach asks oblivious to the scene that just unfolded.

“Actually no,” you tell Miss Peach, “I’m not in the mood for horseback riding.”
With that you enter the Billiard Room. You notice that there appears to be a snooker game in progress. Several unattended drinks remain at the bar. You hear voices from behind the Studio door.

You press your ear against the Studio door. You hear the voices of Mei Scarlet and Henrietta Peacock.
“I can’t believe he found out!” Miss Scarlet shrieks
“It’s not that bad.” Mrs. Peacock says, “Now that he knows we can be together.”
John won’t let me out of his sight.” Miss Scarlet says in tears.
“Why would he want to be around someone who broke his heart?” asks Mrs. Peacock
“Because I’m a slave to him.” Miss Scarlet says
“I used to feel like a slave to my husband.” Mrs. Peacock says
“No,” Miss Scarlet says, “I was kidnapped and sold as a slave.”
“That sick bastard.” Mrs. Peacock says with spite in her voice

You search the Billiard Room to find a several dart holes in the wall near the dart board. Someone must have very bad aim. You open the drawer on the bar to find several decks of playing cards and two wooden dice. In that same drawer is a corkscrew. On the wall of the Billiard Room you notice billiard balls on the rack (quite understandable since a snooker game is abandoned in progress). All six billiard cues and six darts are accounted for. Nothing appears to be out of the ordinary.

You take a billiard cue from the rack on the wall and test out your snooker skills. You sink a red ball in the far right pocket and hit the black ball into a side pocket. You are quite impressed by the angle you got off the cue ball. You sink another red and then the black ball once again. You are moving on to your third red ball when the door open from the hall and your uncle enters. You nod to your uncle and continue to go after the black ball for the third time.
“Francis,” Mr. Boddy walks over to the table, interrupting your concentration, “I need to confide in you.”
“What is it Uncle John?” You ask placing the billiard cue against the edge of the table.
“I’m… I’m a little shaken up.” Mr. Boddy says
“I’m so sorry.” You try to console your uncle.
“How dare she treat me this way!” Mr. Boddy grabs a dart and hits the center of the dart board.
“Can I get you a drink?” you ask
Mr. Boddy picks up one of the unattended drinks from the bar and downs it.

“What exactly happened?” you ask
“I went into the Studio,” Mr. Boddy takes a breath, “Because Mrs. White told me that one of my paintings had been vandalized. I opened the door and there she was… on the stage… surrounded in those cushions.”
“Just out of curiosity, who was she with?” you ask pretending to be oblivious
“She was with another woman!” Mr. Boddy says in disgusted horror, “Mrs. Peacock…”
“Oh,” is the only word that can escape your mouth
“I should have seen the way they acted around each other.” Mr. Boddy says, “Promise me that you’ll never betray me in such a way!”

“I’ll never betray you.” You say to your uncle.
“Francis, my boy,” Mr. Boddy puts his hand on your back, “I’ve done things I’m not proud of and I plan on making things right.”
“That’s great, uncle.” You say with great enthusiasm
“No,” Mr. Boddy says, “My wicked ways are the only thing keeping me alive. If I make things right, everyone in the Fortune Hunter’s Society will want me dead.”
“What’s that?” you ask
“I shouldn’t have said anything…” Mr. Boddy becomes frantic
“Uncle,” you try to calm him, “If you explain everything, I’ll help you.”
“No!” Mr. Boddy says, “If you get tied in with this your freedom will be nonexistent. I’m changing my will first thing tomorrow.”
“In benefit of Georgia?” you ask
“No.” Mr. Boddy says, “I’m leaving everything I own to you. You have always been the sole beneficiary to my estate. Only a few thousand pounds to be given to various friends, but now I see that I must keep the money as far away from people like Mrs. Peacock, Mr. Green, or Colonel Mustard.”
“Are they in the Fortune Hunter’s Society?” you ask eagerly
“Enough!” Mr. Boddy snaps, “Not another word about FHS. Please, act casual during the rest of the party. I don’t want any incidents involving you.”
“Incidents? What kind of incidents?” you ask.
Mr. Boddy scurries back to the hall before he has a chance to hear you finish your question.

You enter the Hall to see Mr. Boddy slap Miss Scarlet across the face. Mrs. Peacock is standing nearby in complete and utter shock. Also present in the room are Professor Plum, Mr. Green, and Mrs. White.
“You are no longer welcomed in my house!” Mr. Boddy shouts at Miss Scarlet
“Where am I to go?” Miss Scarlet composes herself and asks him with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
“Wherever you bloody damn well please.” Professor Plum mutters loud enough for Miss Scarlet to hear.
“In case you’ve forgotten, Professor,” Miss Scarlet walks up to him, “I was kidnapped and sold as a sex slave by you!”
“Dear God!” Mrs. White gasps clutching her chest
“But… Uncle?” you stammer in confusion
“Yes!” Mr. Boddy says, “I admit it. I am the founder and leader of a slave trade market known as the Fortune Hunter’s Society. My French district run by Monsieur Brunette…”
“Don’t take us down with you.” Mr. Green charges at Mr. Boddy and takes a swing at him, punching him in the nose. Mr. Boddy falls to the ground.
“I suppose by now everyone can guess that Mr. Green runs the American ring.” Mr. Boddy says wiping the blood from his nose and standing up, “And Professor Plum, my partner in crime… and I do indeed mean partner in crime.”
“You’re bloody mad!” Professor Plum says as his eyebrows twitch in anger.
“No,” Mr. Boddy says, “I’m glad that it’s out in the open. I can finally end this once and for all. I can finally get the guilt off my back.”
“You…” Mrs. White holds back tears, “You… you let my husband take the fall for this crime ring. I thought that he was involved! I thought that he ran that organization. When the police came you said nothing. You acted surprised. You told them that he was the only one involved. You were standing by my side the day my husband was hanged for a crime he didn’t commit.”
“That is why I intend to hang for my actions.” Mr. Boddy says, “I’ll go to the police and confess. I have no life to live for. The woman I love betrayed me, the business I ran was eating me alive day in and day out.”
“There’s some rope in the cellar.” Mr. Green says, “Hang yourself. Don’t drag us with you.”
“I have no choice.” Mr. Boddy says, “I want justice for what I did. All those girls…”
“I think it’s too bloody late for regrets!” Professor Plum fumes.
“You sick bastard.” Mrs. Peacock bites her lip in anger, “You don’t deserve to hang. You deserve every limb on your body to be dragged off by horses.”
“Yes!” Mrs. White and Miss Scarlet shout in unison.
“Where is Monsieur Brunette?” Mr. Boddy asks, “He should probably be warned that I exposed him.”
“He’s horseback riding with Madame Rose and Miss Peach.” You speak up
“Were you planning on selling Miss Peach too?” asks Mrs. White as she dabs her eyes with a handkerchief
“Actually my plans with young Georgia are of a different nature.” Mr. Boddy says
There is much anger muttering.
“You can just rot in hell!” Mrs. Peacock seethes

You slip up the right staircase and away from the chaos that is being unearthed in the Hall below. Although the voices still carry through the two-story Hall, you manage to distract yourself from the noise. You are overwhelmed by the choices of doors to enter.
