Ever since he was a child, Col. Mustard and his extended family have vacationed each winter at the same mountaintop ski resort in scenic Colorado. However, with the leaves of his dwindling family tree slowly withering away and dying, only four members of the Mustard clan made the trip in the winter of 1986. The first was Col. Mustard himself, a childless widower with a dwindling estate. The second was Mrs. Peacock, the Colonel's sister and the wife of a wealthy senator, an honorary Mustard in his own right. And the fourth was the young Professor Plum, the son of the Colonel's younger sister and his only nephew. Upon the group's arrival, several surprising familiar faces make themselves known. The first are the Meadow-Brooks, family friends and regular poster children for the American dream, having become disgustingly rich despite humble Brooklyn births. And as she checks in, Mrs. Peacock notices Mr. Green, a friendly acquaintance who enjoys hanging about political gatherings. He, however, seems to be readying himself to leave in a hurry with a young lady friend, Miss Ebony, a prominent activist who holds a considerable "fan-base" and quite a bit of sway both with certain voters and with certain key players in the EPA. Naturally, Senator Peacock loathes her. But even if she is a minor celebrity, the real celebrities at the resort that weekend comprise the U.S. Olympic Men's Ski Team. When a freak storm breaks out, everyone is stranded on the mountain, and these unfortunate athletes begin to be violently dispatched by an unknown assassin. However, one of these murders does not fit with the others; it's much too hurried and unmeditated. Did a second murderer strike in an attempt to use another's crimes to cover up his or her own, or did some mastermind abandon a master plan in a sudden burst of desperation? Find out in Dead of Winter. Coming Soon.

The following four people may have some information pertinent to the case. You may question them along with the suspects after the details of the murder are presented to you:

Perhaps this weekend. If not, early next week.

If it was, it would be ironic if Mrs. Peacock was the killer.

Yes. It's perhaps my favorite Murder, She Wrote episode so I thought I'd write an homage.

So, I spent the beginning of my 2012 in the emergency room. I've got some rare form of internal inflammation, so I'm under doctor's orders to take it easy for the week. This is not canceled, but due to these circumstances, it may begin a bit later than I've scheduled.
