Regrettably, Daniel Jezek, the owner and founder of BrickLink, died this year at the early age of 33. Just thought I should clear this up. The memorial was in October.

I'm sure most of you remember my comments about 'going to Chicago to visit my down to earth grandma'. Sadly I will no longer be making those posts. Sometime last night my Grandma Barb had either a stroke or a heart attack. It was fatal. But she died peacefully. Because she was able to tell me everything I needed to know about my family ensuring me that I wouldn't fall into the same traps as my mother did.

My sympathies to you and your family. I'm sure she was a wonderful woman.

Thank you all. She will be greatly missed but she went out quickly. When she was found on the living room floor her hands were under her, which meant she died while walking, otherwise her reflexes would have made her put her hands out to catch herself.

I still unreasonably love cheesy 80s/90s action movies. Ah, Jean Claude van Damme... What a hilarious guy.

I think my attitudes to horrors must be getting softer. I saw Scream for the first time a while back, and I thought it was hilarious! It was pretty effective as a scary movie at the same time. Boat loads of fun. :)

Anyone seen the Upstairs Downstairs première yet?! Already it's shaping up to be a superb revival! I still don't understand why the BBC is taking control of it instead of the original LWT though. Still, it's brilliant!
