That explains a lot...
Don't mean to double post but it was necessary...so these are only the posts that were allowed to stay on the board, undeleted, so you can imagine what the others were like....this is just not the most pleasant topic around here.

I'm still siding with Lord Caspen's POV
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

Well, it does appear to me to be more logical.

i must admit religion is a touchy topic for me (LONG STORY)
but i can still come in here and share and read others views. if that is something you can not or don't want to do then don't! no one is making you post,...if it is offensive or hurtful then don't read! it is here for the people open and wanting to talk about it!

Clueboy12 I really don't see why your getting your knickers in a twit here.

Can't we all just get along???

Besides I started it so I want to keep it open regardless of what others think!

Do you think Roland Ermmech cut out the scene of the black man kissing the white wife in the movie The Day after Tommorrow because the cencors thought it would offend the people in the southern states who didn't like interaccial love???

No.

Also Image yeah thats a common image/dipiction of Buddha(i have a little desk statue of it), yeah not a "fat chinese guy" huh? anyway, don't talk about religions you don't understand and don't dis others religions, i'm catholic, i have a buddha statue, i have a shiva keychain, doesn't make me any less catholic, i'm instrested in other religions and have a deep respect for them except for religions that bash others.

Even though this topic is looooooooooooooong dead, I don't it was mentioned that Bhudda was Indian, not Chinease. Oh the misconceptions. Not from you Clueboy but from another.

I'm looking for an old topic and I stubled across this. Funny, I thought I did respond in this topic. I guess I just voted. Anyway, I'm Baptist, but not southern baptist. I don't know what denomination of Baptists I belong to... Whatever the majority is in Chicagoland, I guess.

I'm a (liberal) Anglican. Oddly enough, though, even though I'm young and pretty liberal, I really love the "high church" (aka "smells and bells") type of service. I'm a big fan of incense at church.

I personally am grateful that there are many religions and ideas out there; learning about different religions is interesting to me. And, I'm also interested in secular ideas too. I'm naturally curious about people and I try to be at least somewhat in-the-know about different faiths/beliefs.
