Just an update for those interested in seeing how things pan out. My parents are trying to regain full custody which will entail not letting him be alone(*) with them until he is 16. So far it's looking bright, in the mean time he is staying with us and life is normal. We are just worried that the birth mom (the father isn't really in the picture) is going to try to get shared or possibly full custody.

Finger's crossed.

*He is allowed to see them on holidays and once a month. But one of his immediate adoptive family members, either me, my mom, my dad, or in rare cases my older sister, has to be present during their visit so that the birth mother isn't at a flight risk in trying to kidnap him.

I'm glad to hear everything's looking optimistic after all. Good luck on getting everything to work out! :)

To Maurice Sendak, one of my favourite childhood authors. Your name and stories will not be forgotten.

Lets not get the most dead man of all, and the one who has been murdered for 53 years Mr.Boddy/ Dr.Black. The DTS obviously does NOT count. Its been 4 years since Mr.Boddy has been put down and now 4 years later in 2012 Dr.Black is back and maybe not for good.
But it is dark upstairs and I am frightened of the dark. Will anyone go with me?

On Friday night, the actor Geoffrey Hughes, most famous for playing Onslow in Keeping up Appearences and Vernon in Heatbeat passed away in his sleep.

Yeah, that's sad. I LOVE Keeping up Appearances and watch reruns all the time.
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

So many people are dying this year. I know it's not a new thing, but it feels rather like an epidemic of sorts.

I just received the news from me mam. Clive Dunn has joined the growing list of deaths this year. :(

Mind you... it wasn't really unexpected... :|
