I think a couple of us have a fondness for 13 Dead End Drive. I also enjoy Caranium, though the last time we played, we skewed it to a lewd direction, called Pornanium. :)

I'm a pretty hardcore board game geek. Overly complex games, especially those with their own expansion packs are right up my alley: Betrayal at House on the Hill, A Touch of Evil, The Arkham Horror.

Kill Doctor Lucky's always fun too. So is Nuns on the Run.

It tends to do that with new posters.

That's Terrible!
I love simple board games, Monopoly, PayDay, Life...I'm not into those kind with the conventions and all the extra pieces, I love my Parker Brother and Milton Bradley Games.

Anyone ever played Masterpiece?

I'm a lover of all kinds of board games, both the "simple" ones and the Euro style ones.

A funny thing I've noticed about people who pretty much play American board games exclusively is that they assume Euro games are too complicated and above their head. But I would argue that Monopoly isn't really any less complicated than Catan, and is in fact far more complicated than some games like, say, Carcassone, which is a personal favorite of mine.

I also like Steve Jackson stuff, like Munchkin >=D

I was looking at the card game yesterday. I might pick it up, looks fun.

Speaking of card games, my all time favorite is Guillotine. Awesome concept, simple and fun gameplay.

I played Blokus tonight for the first time at a monthly board game party. It's pretty fun, I stopped at Toys R Us on the way home and picked up a copy. It's a great puzzle/strategy game for a group of 4.

I was also very excited when I heard someone say, "Anyone want to play Clue?" I made them stop setting up the standard edition the host had on-hand, and ran to my car to fetch my RH Premiere Edition which I had brought just in case. You can imagine how many "Wow, great Clue set" comments it got. Most of them have no idea how many different Clue editions there are.

I have a soft spot for Risk and yes, the dreaded Monopoly as well. The Scene It? games can also be fun.

Shogun
Acquire
A Game of Thrones: A Storm of Swords
Settlers of Catan
Mystery at the Abbey
Kingmaker
Nuclear War
Diplomacy
Carcassonne
Junta
Risk and Castle Risk
Orient Express (not yet played the one already touted here)

Probably some others, but these are the first ones come to mind.

Also, I really like spades.

Is that the old MB GameMaster series game? I loved all those games, but sadly Axis & Allies was the only one that went on to huge success.

Yes, it is that very game. I'm terrible at it, but the gameplay is intense!
