Dexter

Anybody watch the show, Dexter? (The serial killer-killing serial killer.)

I watched the first season on a free showtime thing. Then I got the second season on DVD for Christmas. I really enjoy how the characters are so engaging. Overall, I think it's a well written show.

I'm worried, however, that the second season seemed almost a touch too over the top and that the next seasons might be downhill.

Do you watch it? What do you think?

Hey Michael!

I love the show and I've seen all four seasons. Seasons 1 and 4 are my favorites, and 2 is my least favorite (not saying it's bad, just I like the other seasons better). Season 3, in my opinion, does become even more over the top than season 2. Once you start watching it, you'll see what I mean.

Just wait until you get to season 4 though! ;-)

Wadsworth - "He decided to put his information to good use and make a little money out of it. What can be more American than that?"

Yay, I can't wait to get to season 4. Did you watch them on Showtime? Or DVD? Or download?

I was hoping the DVDs would have some interesting special features, but there was only an interview with the actor which I didn't watch.

Season 5 just ended. It was good as always, but season 4 still hold the rank of greatest season.

I have not read the books, but I hear they are just as good. The first book is basically season one, but after that the book series and the TV series go off in completely different directions.

I strongly recommend the series to anyone. If you watch season one and don't love it, you will be the first person I know who doesn't.

Dexter in 60 Seconds. The ending made me laugh.
