I spent Hallowe'en having my heart broken, as the Maple Leafs lost AGAIN. *sigh*

I wonder if any horror movie has grabbed the concept of a modern Disney movie and ran with it?

I have some more Halloween pics. This time, from trick-or-treating!

Just as I got the harpoon on and before we applied the extra blood.

Here I am again with more blood and feeling in serious pain...

Finally got to take it all off.

Great job... I saw two on facebook...

Were you thinking the whole time how easy it was for David Lewis to just stand there for a couple seconds with it on?

Never crossed my mind because it wasn't that hard to put up with. I sent the pictures to David Lewis though. He said if anybody didn't know who I was, I could have told them I was going as a Greenpeace activist who got in front of a whale.

It's time for the 2010 countdown! Anybody have any exciting plans?

One of my nephews is old enough to be taken out trick-or-treating now, so I think I'll do a few houses with him this year. It's nice to pass down a tradition to the next generation. :)

Last year I decked out my parent's house and was so proud of it... and we only got like 5 trick or treaters. Now that i have my own place, I can't wait to do the same - only i'm hoping for a few more kids to terrorize.

I don't really have anything big planned. I'll probably rent a few movies and stay home on trick-or-treat duty.

My new boyfriend (Danny) invited me over to play the Ouija Board with his family. I'll probably bring my cards and do a little tarot reading for them. Maybe we'll watch some horror movies too. :)

Probably just a night of my favourite horror flicks - in the dark, of course. Plans may change but most likely not.

i have this strange compulsion to buy one of those giant 10 pound hershey's candy bars and wait for some little four year old girl to come trick or treat. "Oh, aren't you cute... here you go!"

I've been determined to get my "(Who's Buried) Under the Big Top" mystery party game done by October. People have been requesting it for a long time and I thought it might make a fun Halloween game. I've spent so many hours working on it this week. I forgot how completely long it takes to put one of these things together.

Only do it if she has jealous looking older brothers.

I spent about six hours today shopping for supplies and there is still so much to find...

I have a six page "halloween decorating plan". And that doesn't include food for our party! I'm crafting most of the decorations this year. And I'm finding it to be a LOT of time intensive work so far.

We did a test run on our "haunt" last weekend and the place looks pretty awesome, but a little sparse. I already have a plan for 2011 to expand! I'll try to post some pictures soon, but we put everything away to prevent theft. Probably drag it all out again each weekend until the big day.

I've been wracking my brain to come up with a name for the "haunt" - as seems to be common with the Halloween crazies. I've finally decided upon Boddy Creek Manor. Named for Mr. Boddy from Clue, of course, and the fact that my front yard landscaping incorporates a stream that meanders through it. And of course, Body and Creak are good Halloween words to play upon. :)

Next year, I'll be creating a "Boddy Creek Cemetery" that trick or treaters will have to walk through. I've been gathering great tutorials for a couple mausoleums and gravestones from my new favorite site: halloweenforum.com

I feel so devoid of Halloween spirit this year. School's sucked the life out of me, and I'm too worried about weekend homework that week to actually plan anything Got to love teenaged angst.

I felt that way in terms of costume. But today, I decided that I'm going to be Russell from Up. And I feel better. :)

Just off topic here.

The Hasbro Family night 3 game will be coming out this Halloween.

In England anyway, not sure about the US.
