21.8. But I have some serious body image issues. I hate my arms and chest. Which seems simple enough to fix, but I find that's so difficult. My arms are too skinny. They're clearly disproportionate to my chest, which isn't fat but it isn't skinny. People say I'm skinny, but I don't see it.

I've been working out for almost a month now. My arms are becoming more defined but I wouldn't say any bigger. It has made me hungrier though, and I think I'm actually gaining weight in my stomach.

I sound like a crazy person.

Meh, last time I did this two years back, I was borderline overweight/obese. I really hate the fact that no matter what I do, I cannot seem to lose any weight at all- it just keeps coming...

Yeah, but you're younger, right? After my senior year of high school, I lost 25 pounds by running and switching to diet soda. I don't really do much in the way of exercise outside of walking to and from class (which is a pretty long walk, maybe 5 miles on Tuesdays and Thursday) and I just started doing push-ups.

Wearing the bulky layers I assume? I know I do at times.

As for my story, I'm so skinny I've been mistakened for being anorexic at times. In reality, it's a high metabolism. My ribs protrude, even without sucking in. Even worse, there's a dent in my chest. Today in science class I volunteered to have my blood pressure checked and to everyone's amusement the wrap that goes around the arm was being wrapped pass the Velcro.

I didn't realize that you were that skinny. You looked normal in your pictures.

I know a kid that is skinny like that too, he has to eat bacon in the mornings to get a little fatter so he looks normal.

Same thing happened to me, except right before my freshman year. I didn't really do anything different though, so I think it was the result of a growth spurt and changing metabolism.

My weight changes here and there. On average my BMI would be 19.2. At my lowest, I'm 18.3 and at my heaviest, I'm 20.1. That's the difference five pounds make. The problem I have with this system is that muscle weighs more than fat. Measuring your waist helps address this but they basically say risk jumps with women with more than a 35 inch waist. Sorry but I doubt Paris ect. has a waist that much smaller. Granted they are taller and wider but not rounder.

The funny thing is people think I'm so underweight because I'm tone and petite.

27.7 I call myself a fat-@$$, simply because I have those blessed genetics which include fat-@$$ syndrome. It actually seems to have shrunk a little in the past year (my poor sleeping and eating habits have paid-off!). But I wouldn't say I'm unhealthy. I like to walk, but am the LAST person you will ever see in a gym. I'm at that size where my friends say I'm not fat, but my mirror says otherwise. And the crazy thing is, I've stayed withing the same 5 lb. range for the last 5 years! When I weighed myself before high school, I was around 187. The next time I weighed myself, I was at 182. And ever since then I've stayed in that same general area! No matter what I do, my weight does not go down (and, thank god, it doesn't go up). Maybe walking all over NYC will do me some good! Or I'll have an obnoxious roommate who will force my lard-butt into the gym and get me hooked on a healthy lifestyle...*shudder*...

Well, thanks to the wonderful Wii Fit that my uncle forced me to use, I now know that I'm 29.98. *sigh*

My weight is like an actor: it always comes back for an encore.
