This actually is me. Well, it’s from 3 years ago during my Halloween parties.

@Black

Nope. I’m the teacher. I don’t think you guys will know this character. It is one of the most iconic characters in Japan. Basically it’s Japan’s Superman. It’s name is ULTRAMAN. I actually watched it on TV (Channel 29 Buffalo New York though I lived in Toronto Canada) back in the 1970’s dubbed in English. It’s actually part of the reason I came to Japan.

This costume, like the Mario one is made out of cardboard, and felt and mostly 100 yen/$1.00 store items. I’m kind of proud of the Ultraman costume because it has lights and sound effects built in.

Why would that be?

Last weekend I had a Board Game Event at a Community Center. Unfortunately we didn’t play Clue. We played Heroscape. You can see in the back corner that I brought basic 1996 Clue and the Mystery At Hogwarts Game (the unofficial Clue game...I’m still waiting for my friend to ship the official Harry Potter Clue game).

Later one adult was surprised to see the Clue game. Remember that we are in Japan here. He watched the movie and played some of the classic American games including Monopoly and Dungeon and Dragons. I promised him that next month I would bring the other Clue sets.

This topic was actually a game iamcarlo. The object was to try and post a picture from the Net and claim it's yourself. If the picture adhered to the original poster's rule, then the picture was validly you. If the picture did not match the rule, then the original poster would say that it wasn't you.

cacums was hosting this round, thus he was referring your pictures to the game.

That said, those are great pictures. I'm glad you are introducing kids to the original Clue and not the Reinvention.

Thanks for the explanation. I noticed that everyone was posting pictures off the net and just assumed that people were just having a lark. Didn’t realize there was an actual structure...haha. I’ll have to read the first page more closely.

edit. Ah, now I get it. Not sure I want to dig backwards to figure out the criteria for this round. I’m already busy with the Heists at www.macheist.com . If you own a Mac computer you might want to join. Some of the puzzles are unbelievable but luckily every one works together to figure them out. In the end you get some free versions of applications.

That last one with the skeleton face. I'm a big horror fan, but that made my stomach churn. :shock:

:? Really? I was terrified for life when I saw the skeleton in the beginning of Raiders of the Lost Ark, but I'm fine with the skeleton-face-thing I posted.

It doesn't freak me out as much now. It was just when I first saw it. I was probably eating. :P 8)
