World AIDS Day.

Post by Depboy » Mon Dec 01, 2008 6:32 pm

Today, December 1, is World AIDS Day. Today is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of the HIV infection. AIDS has killed more than 25 million people between 1981 and 2007, and as of 2007, and an estimated 33 million people worldwide live with HIV. I am one of those 33 million. I debated on whether or not I should share this with you guys, but I felt like today would be an appropriate day to do so.

Good luck, we all wish you well.
Oh, it's England. Croquet on the lawn, tea in silver teapots, sherry before dinner. One simply has to maintain one's standards!

You don't really understand HIV, do you?

I wish you the best, Depboy.

Yes I do

I guess I could have said "wish you well" I guess I gave the wrong answer... but you know what I mean... at least I had the "get well soon" spirit...

Besides Cluedokid gave the same "get better soon" impression... Maybe mine was a little hasty with my reply... I apologize and do wish you well Depboy...

Anyone who thinks Canadians are meek and mild-mannered has obviously never seen us during Question Period!

Well note that the keyword "soon" is left out, unlike yours. I know that recovery from this sort of thing doesn't happen over night. Yes, my post was a little too cheerful yes, but really out of best of intentions.

Back to the regularly scheduled topic...

Hi Depboy! Glad to see you again. It's been MONTHS since you were around, I've been wondering what you are up to. How have you been?
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

Starbucks is donating a part of every purchase to the RED foundation. It costs around 40 cents a day for the 2 pills that can help keep a person living with HIV in Africa alive. So go buy some random drink from Starbucks today! Their hot chocolate is good!!!
