I'm a big fan of slasher flicks, so I know quite a few pretty horrific scenes.

A scene that used to be brutal for me to watch was in Jeepers Creepers, when The Creeper decapitates the police officer and then pulls out the man's tongue with it's bare teeth.

Yeah! And the part when Darry dies in the end, and his eyes have been gouged out. And right beforehand, you can hear him screaming really innocently.

God I love chase scenes! Wendy's from Prom Night (1980 not the crappy remake) is my favourite, it just goes and goes.

Here's some good old fashioned gore from Planet Terror, plus a little bit of nudity.

I just got back from seeing The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. It's a beautiful, wonderfully-made movie...but if I ever see it again, I will not watch the end. I won't even reveal it with white spoilers because you're better off seeing it for yourself; I'll just say that it's really sad and intense. It even had me crying.

I wanted to see it but I'd rather know what it's about first.

Care to tell anyway?

For some reason, I really want to watch Jurassic Park 2 & 3.

I wonder if my director's instructions to base my character on Richard Attenborough's character has anything to do with it...

Why do some of the best movies in the world contain scenes that are downright sickening to watch?

Some of us just love the guts!

I can handle scenes where people are being torn apart, their stomachs ripped open until their intestines fall out, peoples heads exploding, cannibalism, blood pouring everywhere, creatures bursting from inside victims, eyes being pulled out, jaws pulled off, people being impaled, etc, etc, etc....

...but there is one element I just simply can't handle in films and that is rape. I absolutely hate scenes of rape. Examples include What's Love Got to do With It - a film about Tina Turner's rough relationship with Ike and the bad things he did to her, Straw Dogs has another example, Meet the Applegates has a scene where a girl gets raped on the trampolene before she turns into a mantis, etc, etc.
