The actor Peter Postlethwaite has recently died. He died on the 2nd of January 2011.

How he died, I'm not sure.

Apparently in bed.

It's really a terrible shame. He was an excellent actor, and one of the few people in the DiCaprio Romeo + Juliet that I enjoyed seeing on screen. He had a juicy role in The Lost World, and his brief appearances in Inception were terrific. And that's just some of his stuff.

He will be greatly missed.

Wow, that was a long run. But really, who cares who wants to be a millionaire these days?

In fact, apart from The Money Drop, no other game show in the UK is offering more than £250,000! That's a lame number... even lamer than 1! Although of course Are You Smarter Than A 10 Year Old is doing a £500,000 prize... but that only comes half as close...

We have to change our star signs? So what would I be? I'm an Aries now.

I didn't even bother checking mine. But according to my sister, I just managed to be the same sign- now my birthday is the day Taurus starts, apparently.

Anyone take a look at the Golden Globe winners? I didn't bother following the process and just looked at everything, nominations and winners, all in one just now. I can't believe Johnny Depp even got nominated for his awful performance in Alice in Wonderland. Not many surprises, really. The Social Network was the big media event of the year, so it won a lot of the awards it was nominated for. It's a good movie, but some awards I don't think it deserved, such as "Best Screenplay", which I think "The King's Speech" and "Inception" deserved more.

As for the awards for TV series, I can't comment since I don't watch much of it. I will say this, though: I cannot stand Glee.

I just got cast in a community theater production of Rent. My inner romantic makes me love the stupid show.

The Christmas Caroler. In a show so ensemble-centric, it's a pretty decent part. Especially since I get a small solo.
