You know, for some reason I felt face melting would be involved in your costume. Me? Well, my younger brother always goes out trick-or-treating in my grandma's (Jeanne VerVynck) neighborhood. So, I'll probably stay at her house, play some board games, and probably toss out some candy.

I don't know what I'm doing this year, I haven't quite made up my mind. I like doing group things, so I'll see what other people are doing.

I am probably going to march in the NYC Halloween Parade. Last year, it was a blast!

i'm going as Adolfo Pirelli from "Sweeney Todd" this year (the one all the way to the right in my banner). You see a woman in the picture, but Pirelli is a male character. He was played by a female in the new production to balance the vocals during ensemble numbers. All i need is a lab coat, white button-up shirt, blakc tie, black pants, shoes, socks, and an accordian. I might add the top hat he wears in the first scene he appears in, and i might blood-stain the lab coat like it is after he dies (in the new production, whenever someone died, the actor would put on a bloody lab coat, and the stage would be bathed in red lights while another actor poured a bucket of blood from one to another, and all you'd hear would be this sloshing of fluids from one bucket to another. It was effectivley creepy). The actors (10) also played their own instruments, and the show was set in a lunatic asylum with the inmates and workers acting out the show in the mind of one inmate (Tobias).

Okay, I've done Plum and Mustard and Green. Plum and Mustard were rather easy because they're so distinctive. I got a lot of comments on Plum because people would first try to figure out who I was... sometimes I'd have to give them a clue and show my candlestick and rope I carried with me. Then they'd go, "Oooooohhhhhh" and tell me it was clever. :)

Green was a challenge, though. I finally ended up just being the Mr. Green Clue card. (Maybe I'll post a picture later.) How are you planning to do it??

Last year, I finally deviated from my Clue theme and went as a mad scientist. It won me an iPod from our work party. I think it was because of the bizarrely huge wig on such a reserved person as I normally am - it was unexpected. I need to come up with something fun this year too. Maybe with bigger hair!

How's this for me in glasses? Or is it me? Maybe I'm a master of disguises.

This was Halloween last year. I'm tall, but not freakishly so. I just work with midgets.

This was a sort of variation on my Plum costume - turned mad scientist. I wore the same shirt and bow tie as plum - just a bit askew. You can also see the rope (noose) I used as a leash on my pet rat. It's hard to see all of the little details in the photo... things like hair caught inside my glasses, the oozing scars on my face, the syringe my evil looking mutant rat is holding, the bloody handprint on the lab coat... It was FUN! As the evening went on, though, the glasses distorted my vision too much, so I put them on the rat. He was adorable!

That is a wee bit disturbing. I prefer your Green costume. I rather have that Michael run this site than that old mad Michael.

i'm itching to show my mother costume, but I can't find the photo.

I have one picture of me and Ginger when we did Gilligan's Island two years ago, but I'm not sure where that is, and I know where the picture of me, my ex, and two of her friends as Shaggy, Daphne, Fred, and Velma (with a plush Scooby Doo doll) but that's back at home :-(
