Possibly, but who could the other suspect be? There aren't that many people who want to kill Mr. Brown! If I did add another, Mr. Assassin would easily be a black token, for he almost always wears a black suit. Good idea, I can't believe I didn't think of it before! So, it would probably go like this. But what to do, I'd prefer to have a number twelve. But who? And what color would they be?

SUSPECTS:
Jon Sweet
Karl Sandor
Adam Wickness
Sir Julius Reed
Miles Brown
George Phillips
Leslie Phillips
Elsa Glover
Michelle Saxby
Nancy McGrath
Bev Tynan
Stephanie Mancini

WEAPONS:
Knife
Candlestick
Revolver
Wrench
Lead Pipe
Rope
Horseshoe
Poison

LOCATIONS:
Study
Lounge
Dining Room

Billiard Room
Kitchen

Water Closet
Guard House
Garage
Tennis Courts

Players will most likely start at the gazebo.

I don't know about who, because I'm not completely up on your characters, but the color could be orange, I saw you don't have an orange character. And perhaps a female, so to make it even. Maybe you could even invent a new character to go along with that.

Orange works, I suppose I can use the Louis and Elaine Mancini's daugher Stephanie. She has orange hair, so I suppose, I could in fact use orange. But I'll need to come up with a motive. She runs the restaurant Mancini's Pasta House in 2023.

Confession

Post by Lord Caspen » Sat Mar 11, 2006 1:32 pm

I confess I haven't kept up on Snipsville. Could you remind me, please, who Mr. Brown is, what is his status?

Perhaps Brown is her real, illegitimate father, and Louis adopted her?

Or, if Louis is her adoptive father, anyway, say, maybe Brown killed her father (accidentally or otherwise); the fact has never been made public, and he's never suffered for what he did.

Mr. Dennis Roger Brown, he is based off of my seventh grade history teacher, purely in name and appearance. In Snipsville, Brown taught seventh grade history in the late 70's and 80's. Around 1985 he develped a nasty habit of blackmailing. He began making a lucrative "career" out of his blackmailing. He ended up purchasing rather expensive items, much to his wife Barbara's suspicion. In 1989 he took his wife and son on the maiden voyage of the Dynasty to Hamburg for Christmas. The Dynasty sank while returing to New York, but the Brown family made it safely to a lifeboat. Later, Barbara discovered how Dennis was able to afford the trips, cars, jewels, etcetera. She divorced him and won full custody over their son Miles. Mr. Brown's blackmail was never mentioned in court, Dennis promised Barbara he would put an end to it if she didn't bring it up in the trial. Like a fool, Barbara believed him. Brown lost his home to Barbara in the divorce, but with the ill gotten money he continued to earn he was able to buy up a home with no problem. Suspiciously one of the most elaborately designed, and largest homes in Snipsville's illustrious neighborhood (Crystal Springs) was suddenly abandoned by it's new owner Jon Sweet. Brown quickly bought the home. Most of the furniture and items were left inside. Brown continued blakmailing, and tried his best to stay out of the public's eye. He quit his teaching job, and became a playboy. Taking vacations and harassing his wealthy neighbors. In 2023 he found plans written by Jon Sweet in 1988 in a wardrobe in his attic. He thought this would bring him some good money, blackmailing the wealthiest, and one of the most powerful men in the world. He offered his longtime accomplice Adam Wickness a quarter of the profits if he did the dirty work for him. Wickness, who provided a fair share of information himself, decided against Mr. Brown's offer and wanted to quit working for him. Brown, already unstable as it is, threatened to kill Wickness if he quit. Fearing for his life, Wickness continued working for Brown and agreed to help him. Sweet got a phone message claiming his "plans" were found, and he must regularly pay a total of $10,000,000 a month, or Mr. Brown would give the plans to the papers. Sweet quickly figured out who his blakmailer was by tracing phone calls and records of the purchase of his old home. Sweet called his old friend Karl Sandor out of retirement, and hired him to kill Brown. Sandor flew out to Snipsville from his home in Buckinghamshire, England and met with Sweet who was hosting a business conference at the Everett Sweet Center in Snipsville. In 2023, Sandor, an experienced assassin, poisoned Mr. Brown at his manor. The following year it was discovered that Wickness had the plans in his posession. Sandor murdered Wickness at the Tynan Grand Casino on January 18, 2024. And that's Mr. Brown in a nutshell!

Perhaps she was one of Brown's students, and he tried to turn her into a Lolita, but she would have none of it?

Or, perhaps Brown destroyed the man she loves.

For Stephanie, I wanted to try and have something that involves the restaurant. Perhaps she accidentially left something in Mr. Brown's food while she was inspecting the kitchen staff? But, here is the short and good natured Sir Julius Reed. Owner and founder of Julius Reed Enterprises, a major corporation that controls the many Julius Reed nuclear plants scattered across the globe. I need to come up with a motive for him as well. He lives near Brown Manor, which means he has been the victim of Dennis Brown's childish pranks. He has never been married, and has no children. Any ideas? Mabye he has been burying nuclear waste beneath Snipsville's forest preserves? Mabye not, he's just too darn friendly to be involved in crime. So he should have done something accidental that caused a problem, and Mr. Brown traced it to him?

That would suggest scientific effects with something that, only five or six years later, did he learn to be environmentally destructive (new research comes out, along with suppressed old research,) like this constantly. So, there is no surprise if he learned something before him.

Presenting Karl Sandor; a no-nonsense British assassin who has done business with Jon Sweet several times in the past. He is now retired, and spends most of his days at his home in Buckinghamshire. But a call from his old friend brought him out of retirement for "one last job". Sweet payed him $750,000 to murder Dennis Brown as well as recover some "important" documents from Brown Manor. Karl was found by Police Chief George Phillips looking for the documents in the Study. But did Karl succeed at killing Mr. Brown? Or did Jon decide to enjoy the "pleasure" of killing his blackmailer himself? He was in the neighborhood afterall... But what a bloody waste of money that would be... But he is a sociopath, afterall...

His appearance is actually heavily based off of these two gentleman:

Image

Sandor (Left): One of Karl Stromberg's henchman in the film The Spy who Loved Me
47 (Right): A genetically engineered assassin.

And as you can see his name is a mixture of Karl Stromberg and Sandor.

For my money, the Bruce Willis resemblance is tied up entirely with his being white, bald, and fifty-something.

Can't I just have a white, 55 year old, slap-head without him being called Bruce Willis? Besides he's only 37 in the year 2005, but he doesn't look much different at all...
His brow comes from 47, as well as his figure and clothing. And his head comes from Sandor. There's was nobody else in mind when I created this character!

Adam Wickness; Mr. Brown's longtime accomplice and friend. He gladly took in 10% of Mr. Brown's earnings as an added bonus to his regular teaching salary. He is 43 years old, much too young to have taught with Brown during his career, but he did take over Brown's class when Mr. Brown retired. As well as teaching history, he teaches both math and language. Adam has a strange taste in wearing women's pants on a day to day basis, which is suspected by many, but nobody really knows for sure. He is married, and his wife recently gave birth to his first (and only) son. He does most of Mr. Brown's dirty work. He has bribed just about every Snipsville Police Officer except the apparently upright and moral George Phillips. He dug up most of the information Mr. Brown used to blackmail his victims, and abducted Mr. Brown's son. When he heard of Mr. Brown's plans to blackmail the wealthiest man in the world (Jon Sweet) he instantly asked Brown to not force him to get involved. He thought it was too risky, and that Sweet had too many powerful friends for them to get away with it. But Brown, who had grown completely insane over the years insisted that it was a great opportunity to make more money than they could ever dream of. Brown threatened Adam and his family's lives if he went against him. Fearing for his family's safety, Wickness went along with the plans and gave Sweet the notice that he was being blackmailed.

Elsa Glover; A 59 year old teacher who doesn't quite enjoy teaching. Mrs. Glover is married, and has a son and daughter. She was just starting out her career when Mr. Brown retired to the life of a playboy. She never really cared for Brown, but kept a phony relationship with him anyway. She would actually, on occasion, inform on his "activities" to various people. She never went to the police, but she did reveal Mr. Brown's dastardly secrets to his wife. Meaning that Mrs. Glover demolished the alreadly crumbling marriage between Dennis and Barbara Brown. When she learned of Mr. Brown kidnapping his son, she went to the aging Barbara Brown as well as Police Chief George Phillips and revealed the kidnapper. Only Wickness and Glover knew that Dennis was responsible for the kidnapping, Mr. Brown quickly eliminated the loyal Adam Wickness as the informant, and blamed Glover for leaking the information. Mr. Brown made multiple attempts on Elsa's life. Using a WA 2000 sniper rifle Dennis sat in his Rolls Royce Phantom III outside of the Glover home and fired shots through the kitchen window at Mrs. Glover. He missed every shot, and did nothing but tear up Mrs. Glover's kitchen. He continued doing this for two more days. Then he left a bomb underneath the back seat of Mrs. Glover's sedan. Mr. Brown kept an eye on the car in his Phantom III, when he saw a woman who looked like Elsa get into the car and pull into the driveway, he detonated the bomb. Destroying the car, and half of the Glover's garage. When Mr. Brown checked the obituaries, he learned that the woman was not Elsa, but her sister Marsha. Marsha's husband had her car, and was out of town. Too cheap to rent a car, Marsha was borrowing Elsa's. Elsa seemed invincible, Mr. Brown was furious. As he was just heading out to make another attempt on Glover's life, Mrs. Glover showed up at his door. Was she just there to tell him off and give him a bloody nose? Or did she have a more sinister idea for revenge?
