First Canadian Clue pieces for sale

Post by SewMuskoka » Wed Dec 05, 2018 11:10 am

Wondering if there is any interest in my First Edition Clue pieces.

I have instruction sheet (that says made in Canada, by the coop Clark Co. Limited, Toronto, Canada). All playing cards, original red dice, original wooden playing pieces of Prof Plumb, Col Mustard and Mr Green. And all original weapons.

Pieces similar to the ones listed in this add on ebay (not my add) https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Clue-Board-Game ... Sw42dZCMR8

I can send photos if interested. I would like these pieces to go to a good home. I will accept any reasonable offer.

hey there - just saw your posting.....I have a question for you, not wanting to buy anything as I already have the complete game.
Question is, what size was the candlestick in the first edition? Mine came with two candlesticks - a larger sized one -1 3/4" tall, and a smaller sized one...
1 1/4" tall. (I am guessing the smaller sized one is the standard size but wanted to check and make sure it was that size the early versions had, and not the larger sized one). If you can shed any light on this subject, it would be greatly appreciated. (my game came with the real rope, not the plastic one, and the butter knife, not the dagger). cheers! K
