Clue Board Game Project by Black
Currently, I have two Clue / Cluedo in the works. The first is for a fan club on which I am awaiting A LOT of art commissions for. But the second is what I am here for.
For this game, it will be a 3 - 7 player game in which one of the players is the late Mr. Boddy. Similar to Mysterium but there is only one solution to solve.
For the game, I have 16 Suspects, Weapons & Rooms. This is rough but I happy for suggestions.
The Suspects for murder are:
1. Colonel Mustard (Yellow)
2. Professor Plum (Purple)
3. Mr. Green (Green)
4. M. Brunette (Brown)
5. Sgt. Grey (Grey)
6. Dr. Black (Black)
7. Judge Redwood (Dark Red)
8. Sir Midnight (Dark Blue)
9. Mrs. Peacock (Blue)
10. Miss Scarlet (Red)
11. Mrs. White (White)
12. Miss Peach (Pale Orange / Peach)
13. Mme. Rose (Light Pink)
14. Lady Lavender (light Purple)
15. Mrs. Boddy (Dark Grey)
16. Aunt Celeste (Light Blue)
The Weapons for the game are:
1. Dagger
2. Revolver
3. Rope
4. Poison
5. Corkscrew
6. Shotgun
7. Axe
8. Scissors
9. Candlestick
10. Lead Pipe
11. Wrench
12. Poker
13. Trophy
14. Bookend
15. Dumbbell
16. Microphone
The Rooms are:
1. Hall
2. Lounge
3. Dining Room
4. Kitchen
5. Ballroom
6. Conservatory
7. Billiard Room
8. Library
9. Study
10. Art Studio
11. Garage
12. Swimming Pool
13. Guest Room
14. Movie Theatre
15. Wine Cellar
16. Exercise Room
This list isn't final as of yet. But any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated

Ooh, I love Mysterium! I mean, it's basically Cluedo on drugs, isn't it?
How do you plan to have yours work with just one solution? Is it still a cooperative experience, just with all the players trying to pinpoint one solution instead of multiple potential trails?
It seems that would make for a very short game without the 2 distinct rounds: following multiple leads, then narrowing it down to just one.

The idea is that it's Clue with elements from Mysterium & the DVD board game, Atmosfear.alwaysPeacock wrote:Ooh, I love Mysterium! I mean, it's basically Cluedo on drugs, isn't it?

One person is playing as Mr. Boddy - he will know the solution to the murder (hidden behind a screen) The Suspect Players are playing Clue as normal, going around the mansion, making suggestions and at certain intervals (after a few turns have passed) Mr. Boddy draws everyone's attention, he reads an event card and the players that apply to would have to reply or be punished.

I've had a look on google for some icons for the weapons but no look. So I made my own version of the icons and I just need an opinion.
http://fav.me/dbs86kx
The left icon is that the weapon is a Blunt / Bludgeoning weapon (Candlestick, Lead Pipe etc) and the right icon is that the weapon is not a Blunt / Bludgeoning weapon (Dagger, Revolver etc)

If I was having outdoor locations, I would consider having a Croquet Malletcluefan8888 wrote:They Look Great. Can you please remove the Scissors, and replace them with the Snake?
And can you also take Out the Dumbell in favor of the Croquet Mallet?
Everything else is going great. can't wait to see the final result.
As for a Snake, I really can't see Snake working, Cluedokid made it work but I can't.

2) Maybe then,There could be a Letter Opener,Hat Pin,Or Maybe even A Posionus Spider...
But a Awl or Planchette could also work. :3

1) I've got a Dagger, so no point in having a Letter Opener as well (in the game, the Dagger is used as a Letter Opener)
2) If I had a cloak room or outdoor areas, I'd use a Hat Pin
3) The game is set in England, we don't have many poisonous spiders in the UK (as far as I know)
4) I don't know what an Awl is
5) In my opinion - A Planchette does not look sharp to stab a person.

And Maybe,Instead of a Dumbell,You could have a Brick.
Also,Do you intend to have multiple murders? If so,How will it Work?

What I'm trying to say is, an Awl is really obscure - I've never even heard of it until being on this forum.
As for the murders, you are solving 1 murder per game (like classic CLUE) First person to solve the murder, WINS
Why are you so dead set against Dumbbell? I have GYM as a location so a Dumbbell would be ideal. Brick is the same as Croquet Mallet and Hat Pin. It would only work if I was having outdoor locations.
