Mrs. Peacock, where did you go after opening your envelope?

Reverend Green, same question. It may be the little details that decide the case, but first, I must know the major points.

And then the case will be elementary.

Mrs. Peacock, did you place a phone call to Miles tonight?
IT'S ALL TOO SHOCKING!

Normally at this point I would PM everybody their score and publish the anonymous results here, but I can save time by saying that everyone got 0 out of 3!

The good news - you can all eliminate a suspect, a weapon and a room from the enquiry.

The bad news - the chief of police is disappointed that none of you are any closer, he sees it as a waste of resources. So after the next round, one of you will be taken and put on traffic duty, and off the case.

IN ROUND TWO...

You can all publicly ask a further two questions. I will PM your replies to you and you can make a second suggestion. (via PM)
After I reveal the suggestion results, you can all vote to eliminate a fellow detective and maybe get rid of a rival. So take notice of other people's lines of questioning...maybe they are getting close!

When we make a suggestion, is that publicly or PM'd?

Madam Rose and Colonel Mustard, did either one of you remove the sabre from the billiard room?

Mrs. White, why was poison just sitting out in the open in the kitchen in the first place?

Reverend Green, did you place the phone call to Meadow-Brook that evening?

Madame Rose, what happened after you met Col. Mustard in the Billiard Room?

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I'm a little stumped.

Hmmm is that a clever bluff so that others don't vote you off?

(I'm just messing, I haven't read Black's second suggestion so don't read anything into it.)

Second interview responses have been posted to you all.

I play a lot of poker but I'm not bluffing.

To tell the truth, it's out of two suspects for me.

The suggestions are all in, and I can now reveal the result...

2 detectives have got 1 out of 3
4 detectives have got 0 out of 3

Its elimination time! As nobody has solved the murder somebody must leave the investigation.
You can all vote for who you would like to eliminate.
Whichever detective gets the most votes will be out…or will they?
Before they go they will get one chance to have the last laugh, as the other detectives and suspects are assembled Poirot-style and they get to publicly make one last guess at the solution.
If correct, they win, if not they have to leave the case.

In case of a tie in the vote, whoever is furthest from the correct solution will be eliminated.

Please PM me with your vote.

The votes are in...

The chief of police has gathered the suspects and detectives in the lounge.
'Well guys, it seems that you aren't getting any nearer the solution.
So one of you is off the case. I have asked you all for your opinions and I'm afraid the fall guy is you...

Detective Manate.

'But you get one last go. Everyone is here to listen to your deductive powers and reasoning, so make it good. There may be a promotion in it for you.'

cue Detective Manate to make an accusation...

"S-sorry, Detective Gumshoe." Exie said, placing her arms behind her back as tears welled up in her eyes. "I wish I could have been more of a help."

"...Which I can, right?" Exie said, looking up. Her face transformed into a smile. "Now, I know it seems like a bit of a long shot, but I that it happened in the kitchen, the murder weapon was the sabre, and I think it was... Well, I think it was you, Elizabeth."

(Peacock, sabre, kitchen)

The chief of police clears his throat.
And sighs.
And just extends his left arm, pointing towards the door.
Detective Manate takes the hint, and leaves politely closing the door behind her.

The chief surveys the remaining detectives. 'Right guys, time to up your game. Lets crack this case, and soon.'

Round Three...
Everyone can publicly ask two more questions.
