No one can disprove the suggestion, would you like to make an accusation?

Mrs White picks up her feather duster and walks up the corridor towards the library.

(Note: I will be accusing after this suggestion, regardless of how it turns out.)

Dr. Black stood there, in disbelief at Mme. Rose's accusation.

What, me, commit murder? You think I grabbed an axe, followed Mr. Boddy in here, and chopped him into bits? That's crazy!

[Dr. Black suggests Dr. Black with the Axe in the Dining Room]
"Are you trying to make me look stupid in front of the other guests?"
"You don't need any help from me, sir."
"That's right!"

Well, I'm glad we got that misunderstanding sorted out. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have something else I need to do.

Dr. Black stepped out of the Dining Room and glanced around nervously. Seeing nobody since Mrs. White was on the other side of the staircase, he darted into the Kitchen. There, he saw Councillor Berry staring at a bloodstain on the floor.

Councillor Berry... what a surprise. I didn't expect to see you here. Well, no matter. I only need one thing right now... an escape. And since you're in the way...

He picked up the Axe he had left there earlier.

...I'll have to kill you. Just like I killed Mr. Boddy.

[Dr. Black accuses Dr. Black with the Axe in the Kitchen]

CMustard has accussed CORRECTLY

The murder was in the Kitchen
The weapon was the Axe
And the killer was Dr. Black

CMustard, your confession.

M. Brunette, Rev. Green, Mme. Rose, and Mrs. White hear the ear-piercing scream. They all run to the Kitchen, but it's locked and barricaded. After breaking through, they discover the bloody, mutilated corpse of Cllr. Berry, a bloody Axe next to it, and one of the windows forced open. Near the body, they discover a note.

From the moment he set foot in this house, I never liked Boddy. That wail-like laugh, that condescending demeanor... it was as though he had no regard for what anyone thought of him, so long as things went his way. Trouble was, things always went his way. Always. Well, except for this time...

You're probably aware of the history of this mansion. How my uncle, Terrence Black, left it to me several years ago. And you probably remember the uproar that codicil caused - the one that said that if his long lost son was discovered to be alive within ten years of his death, then the mansion would go to him instead. Naturally, I didn't pay any mind to this - what were the odds that the actual heir would be found? There would be a lot of fake heirs, for sure, but the real one?

Enter Xavier Boddy. You all remember how, just a couple of weeks ago, he had those DNA tests performed that proved he was Uncle Terrence's son. Of course, I was upset. Who wouldn't be in my situation? But, you know, I had to put on a happy face - after all, he was my long lost cousin, right? So I hosted this little get-together - the last one I would ever host here, if things went as Boddy planned.

I had gone out back to chop up some firewood - at least, that's what I claimed. In reality, I was doing that, but I was also letting off steam. Once I had finished, I went to the Ballroom to rest before putting the Axe away. Suddenly, I heard a voice from the Kitchen. It was Boddy.

You have to understand, at this point, I had no intention of killing him. The only reason I still carried the Axe was that I wanted to put it where it belonged. I had cooled down to the point where I was willing to reconcile. Maybe he had just given off a bad first impression. Maybe the two of us could work things out, even if I did have to give up the mansion. Anyway, he didn't even notice me as I entered...

Image

He was talking on the phone at the time, holding a glass of brandy in his other hand. He was apparently celebrating with someone on the other end of the line. Since he didn't notice me, I listened in. It turns out, Boddy was never my cousin! He had just paid off the guys who performed the DNA test to say that it was a match! This whole thing about being Uncle Terrence's long lost son... it was all a sham! A fraud!

Well, with that, any chance of reconciliation went out the window. I crept up behind him, Axe in hand... He never saw me coming. He only noticed the moment the Axe hit his neck.

By the way, sorry about the Councillor. I was trying to escape, but she found me. I had nothing against her personally - she had just seen too much is all. By now, of course, I should be out of the area, presuming this lock and barricade on the Kitchen door holds up.

With no love lost,
Dr. Damian Black

it's kinda funny how the Miss.Scarlet character looks a lot like Koo Stark from Cluedo series 2.

was this on purpose?

I see what you mean. No, it wasn't, I was thinking what would be the perfect Scarlet. I wasn't too keen on the blonde or Asian Scarlets. (Lysette Anthony excluded)

There hasn't been too many brunette Scarlets (minus the fan made Scarlets) I got Willie's dress the I. Jones models and placed a head with some hair on and I got the result I was happy with.

I like this Miss.Scarlet alot! I think Koo was probably the best Miss.Scarlett in the whole series so I'm glad your happy with this Lego Scarlet.
