Cluedo - Series 5

Post by WarnerPlum » Fri Mar 19, 2010 10:44 am

As I mentioned earlier, I had a new idea coming on. And the premise is this:

17 years after the last series of the detective game show, the fifth series of Cluedo begins! This version of the game is unlike any other played on the board, for apart from being fully illustrated, everything about the show will actually be played out, right down to the commercial breaks! There will be 6 episodes to represent one season. The stories will be written by myself, and the show itself will be a combination of all the previous 4 series.

What do you think of it? Anyone willing to sign up?

Well, no, not the ads themselves, just an indicator to the breaks.

Anyway, I'll sign you both up then! Good to hear!

Oh, it's England. Croquet on the lawn, tea in silver teapots, sherry before dinner. One simply has to maintain one's standards!

You're on!

I've had a few ideas for Episode #1.

"Our American Cousin"
The Reverend's cousin, Mr. Green, arrives from America, with the idea of buying Arlington Grange for his business' purposes. Naturally, not one person is pleased to hear of it, and there's more to it than that...

I've had the idea of adapting the CDi episode "Deadly Patent" into the series also - how does that sound?

I had an idea where i'd start a thread on this forum 'bout making up the opening lines to introduce a case - like they did on the TV versiojn. chris or richard would say something to start the vt. but we would make up silly intros like:

"...and the reverend green is walking about arlington without his trousers on - again"

:D
