I've just found in my Smyth's toys magazine, Hasbro Family night 3. Not sure when to get it.

Blast! I've lost the Mrs. White pawn from my '92 Clue set! Or it went missing when I first had it. Either way, I'll have to buy a new one. :(

Or you could just borrow one from another game.

But then it'd wreck the balance in the aesthetics! :(

Aren't the '92 pawns identical to the 1972 through 2002 pawns? It seems like for any of those editions, you only need one set of pawns.

I've gotten a copy of the hasbro family night 3 game for the Wii.

My Review (Just the Cluedo game)

Graphics: 4/5
Sound: 4/5
Relation to Original: 0/5
Special Features: 2/5
Challenge: 1/5
Overall: 1/5

The game is meant to be based on the Discover the Secrets game. Instead of playing as one of the six suspects. You play yourself.

You roll the dice and try to move onto ? spaces. On the orignal version, you play a mini game. Complete the mini game, and you'll get Rumor Points for your Rumor Meter. When your Rumor Meter is full, you make a rumor by picking a Room, Weapons and Suspect. You are then told the result of your rumor.

I.E. you say that Mrs.. I mean White didit, in the Hall with the Knife. You would be told which are right and which are wrong. In this case, White is the killer, but she didn't use the knife and the murder wasn't in the Hall.

If you enter a room, you can't make a suggestion. But if there is a suspect in that room, you can intereveiw them. Which is another mini game. You've got nine squares and you eliminate 1. Behind the squares is a picture of a weapon or something to do with a room. Once a suspect has been interveiwed, they cannot be interveiwed again.

To acuss, you have to go to the Swimming Pool that's in the middle of the board where there is a police officer waiting. Guess the three elements right, you win. Watching the Murderer being arrested at the bottom right of the screen. If all players acuss incorrectly, the murderer will do a cheeky wave and run off screen.

The remixed version is a little different. Before rolling the two dice, you roll and event die. The event die has different squares that do certain things.

1. Switch off the lights, where either a player will be attacked making them miss a turn or a suspect killing them off.
2. A key which locks a room of the players choice for 2 turns.
3. Sealed a room, which locks any room apart from the murder room. The locked room cannot be entered and is eliminated from your notepad with any suspects in the room.
4.Full Rumor Bar, lets you make a rumor and let's you take another turn.
5.Pool Party moves all players and suspects into the pool while everything resets. ? Spaces will move to different spaces and the suspects into different rooms.

When you land on a ? space on this game, you don't play a mini game, but the Rumor meter will fill up either 1, 2 or 3 spaces. (the meter has 6 spaces)

For both games, you get to play either a short or long, the short version will eliminate, 4 weapons and rooms and 2 suspects. The long version won't.

The only decent thing about this game is that the suspects are Miis. The XBox 360 would propbly have the avatars but I don't know the PS3 version will have.

It's better to play the board game.

ne more thing I forgotten to mention on my review. If no one gets the solution correct, you won't find out the answer. Just the killer.

A good Clue-themed video game could definitely be made in the style of Guilty Party for the Wii. You go about collecting evidence and alibis until you figure out who the killer is. And then, you have to prove it's him or her by systematically ruling everyone else out. However, the game is mostly based on the suspects' appearances. For example, if you find piece of clothing stuck onto a high up place, you can rule out short suspects.

If people could by it, I wouldn't mind buying Cluedokid's Master Detective game.

Got an email from Chapters (a book store for those that may not know of it) tonight and was pleasantly surprised to find a Clue reference inside.

Sadly when I went to see if there was actually anything 'Clue' about it or anything else they were selling in the ad... there isn't, but I was still happy seeing the mention.
