I've just played three games of the Super Cluedo game and it was the same killer in all the games. What are the chances of that?

If there are 6 killers, the chance is 1/36 (0,027777777...), provided the draw is random. A draw will not be random if, say, your programme is bugged or your playing cards are bent/warped/folded/etc.

I was playing the English Master Detective game so there would be 10 suspects and all the cards are neutral (just a little wear and tear but you ca't tell the difference just by looking at the back)

Then the odds are 1/100, 1%. In my Cluedo set, the Rev Green card had somehow gotten folded, which meant it would never come up when shuffling, plus it looked so different from the rest nobody would choose it from the pile: no Green as killer in over 10 years. Then I rolled dice to pick the cards. Worked.

Apple juice, being made of fruit, can get all yeasty and will taste of beer and smell very bad if it becomes stale or the package got damaged. Happened to me once.

I know I'm a largely absent member of the forum these days, but I just found out that CSI:NY has done a Clue-themed episode called Clue: SI as part of their current season. I haven't seen it myself but it seems like it has serious potential, with a serial killer modelling his crimes after the game.

If this has been brought up before, I apologize.

Tim Curry had a stroke yesterday. Reports are that he is recovering well ...

However it doesn't bode well for his future career. He's been in notoriously bad health for several years, this is only going to make things worse.

Go_leafs, thanks for the heads up about CSI:NY. That episode aired in November, and doesn't appear to be available for free online. It can be bought for $1.99-2.99 online though. CSI:NY was cancelled this season, so there's a chance is may show up in re-runs through the Summer, and it will certainly end up in syndication in the Fall.

There are a number of clips on CBS.com though ... search for the clips from the episode that aired during 11/08/12. I'm really impressed -- they actually licensed the game from Hasbro, using the 1963 re-issue. This might be a TV episode I finally have to spend $2.99 to see ... it looks pretty good. And I do like Gary Sinise ...

WOW! And they use different editions ... in this clip they use the new Luxury Edition (stop watching after the opening scene, to avoid spoilers if you intend on watching the episode)

Actually you can see most of the pertinent scenes of the episode if you watch in this order:

I bought it on iTunes but I have a night shift I have to get to soon, so I probably won't be able to see it until tomorrow.

EDIT: I did manage to fit in the entire episode. It's pretty good; imaginative and clever, and it manages to work in three different editions of Clue. It's also got a bare minimum of character "development" (a.k.a. repetitive angst, something that really turned me off the other two CSI shows). It's a pleasant reminder of why this was my favourite CSI show before I gave up on them.
