Clue: The Frank Triberus Edition

I've decided to create my own version of the Clue game! It'll feature ideas from Super Sleuth, the VCR Games, and a little inspiration from the others aswell (including a few fan-made games)

Up to 10 people can play to solve the mystery of who killed whom, where and with what. I'm considering doing the 'When?' as well, but I'm still thinking about it.

More info later. I've already done some of the suspect cards, and I've got a rough idea of the rest of the game..

I've decided to do a simple-ish card template.. how does this look?

The template looks fine... but if there are suspects, Boddy should really be the victim.

Agreed. People seem to not realize that there is a reason why he is called Mr. Boddy.

Hmmm, perhaps you're right. I'll remove Mr. Boddy from the list and have him the fixed victim, so we won't have a different victim every time.

Well, I love the template. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Oh, you can have a random victim- but it has to be Doctor Black, not Boddy.

No no, it's fine.. I was thinking of replacing it with the Personal Identity bit from the VCR games!

Now, I pretty much did the suspects in Sims 2 (having taken some of the ready-made clothes and tweaking them a bit), and I have the photos for the weapons. But, I was thinking of doing the rooms in either Sims 2 and Floorplanner combined - in which case I'll need to get the University add-on pack which boasts a billiard table... anyway, here's Miss Scarlet:

So, what do you think so far?

I don't *really* like the background- grey is such a boring colour. Maybe make the background red and the Miss Scarlett black?

Eh? What? I thought the background was red to start off with! Do you mean the border or the background in the portrait?

Ah, yes... that'll be a bit difficult. But I kind of like as it is, really...

I've made a rough idea of the board:

Image

As you can see, I intend to allow players to walk through the rooms. A Guest House exists which comprises of three different parts, which, as well as playing no part in the murder (along with the Cellar), act as the starting spaces for all the characters...
(By the way, pardon my reference to the Reinvention - I thought they might make a good appearance in this game!)

I like most of it, but the guest house looks REALLY awkward and takes away from the rest of the layout.

I like it so far, but the writing on Miss Scarlet's card is a bit odd. "She's aptly named..." doesn't make as much sense without "Red is the color of danger." (Or something similar) coming first

I know your game is in it's early stages, but I think I much preferred your earlier version of Clue you did on the computer.

Me too. No offence, but Miss Scarlet looks rather boring. It's now how I envision her at all. :|
However, I quite like the board.

Weelly???? Oh, I never knew! As for the card, I'll have to try and fix it at some point. As for the board, I'm not sure I know where else to place the Guest House... Aaaahhhh!!!! You lot have put too much pressure on me!
