For me it started with the game when I was about 9, still remember first solution Peacock-Dagger-Kitchen, then I saw the film one Christmas and it grew from there. I was brought up on murder mysteries/Agatha Christie/Murder She Wrote as my mum was a huge fan of whodunits. When I was younger I loved the idea of a country mansion somewhere with Vicars/Professors/High Society Ladies etc running round bashing their host over the head with dirty spanners and such. Then the TV series started and I was hooked on that. I had a friend at junior school (Clare) and she loved Cluedo too. Her house was great as the first floor has 6 rooms off the landing and we played our own version of the TV game.

When I was about 4 years old I went to a family gathering. My cousin had a super nintendo and said I could play it and pick any game I wanted. Guess which one i Picked? I fell in love and made my dad go out and buy me a clue game the next day. And my family dreads the day that happened because from then on out my christmas list has been nothing but clue, clue, clue. And the still blame my cousin haha!
