Sorry Brian you can't have it two ways. Have people dislike you because you have different opinions as well as create conflict and have people like you because you agree with them. You end up seeming fake if you do both.

Back to Harry Potter Clue, who is planning on getting one? Personally I doubt I will because I like to collect Clue boards that I want to play. The gameplay I'm up in the air. Maybe I like the fact you don't have to go to a location to accuse. I like caughting people off guard by solving the mystery. Like you eliminate the wrench because someone showed you the knife. And you suggested Miss Scarlet in the Ballroom (while having both cards). I love seeing the expression on people's face when I blindsight them.

And I do like Harry Potter to a point, I'm just not a diehard fan. I already have Simpsons Clue and I rarely play it. Really I'd rather get the Bookshelf set 1963-style as well as the 1973 version instead. Maybe I'm approaching the collecting part all wrong. :P

I've never been much of a Harry Potter fan, so I most likely won't buy it.

I'll probably get it, if somewhere around where I live will carry it. I haven't had much luck with that lately, though, so we'll see.

I don't know whether or not I'll get it. I loved the first 3 Harry Potter books, but I could only get 1/2 way through the 4th one. I am, however, reading the first book again in Greek, so that might get me back into wanting to re-read the rest of the books.

I think I might get it as a present for my Mom come Channukah or Christmas; let's just say I get my tendency to become fascinated over a particular author from her!
Or maybe I'll surprise her and get it early.

Well, I am just going to stop talking about being a detective because no one believes me. The *beep* with this; I can't be bothered to argue.

Don't say that, so you posted silly stuff, I guess you just went over the top a little. Everybody does it. But, I suppose I was a bit over the top, sorry.

Well, I'm certainly going to have to get it. I don't mind different versions of Clue, as long as the old standbys are still around. I have Scooby Doo Clue because I'm a big Scooby Doo fan, so as I'm a big Harry Potter fan, I'll have to pick this up.

I finally added my Harry Potter game page in the Clue Games section. (Very bottom of the list.)
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

It looks pretty cool. I like the moving passages and other stuff idea. Still confused where you got it.

Wow! That looks fantastic, the cards in particular!

Yeah that looks awesome. I would've reversed the girls a bit and made Ginny red and Hermione blue, but it's great nevertheless.

The starting places are so strange. I wonder why they felt the need to mix them all up? I would've guessed that it would be done to give no one any advantages, but Ron can turn into a room with only 1 space while Luna needs 4. (I'd also say that it's kind of lame that you can get into a room so easily for all of the characters.)

I'd also point out that the Clue logo and question mark they've used is that tacky one from the reinvention.

Has anybody seen this Magical Beasts game?

It’s one step away from being a clue game. I really like the flipping board gimmick for inside and outside locations. I think by changing the rules to putting the solution in an envelope, and then deducting the solution might be a more interesting game for all. Could make for an interesting Master Detective reissue, offering a smaller board with expanded rooms. Maybe upstairs/downstairs?
