The one with the tie, easily.

The other is highly dramatic, and very nice in its way, but it does not at all reflect a gentleman at a comfortable country retreat. It would be appropriate pretty much only if he were on safari, or deranged enough to believe he were still on safari.

In the case of the second, it's not much of a mystery, eh? The lunatic in the pith helmet did it!

Haha, yeah, I agree with Lord Caspen.

I do like the first one, though. I also believe that was the outfit originally used by that character.

What do you plan on doing for head gear? Hair? Pith Helmet?

Second one for sure. I never really liked it all that much when Mustard wore a uniform.

I'm going with hair, but can't decide on the color. Tan, grey or white? I'm leaning toward tan, but he's usually depicted with white hair.

If I had my druthers, I think you should use hair. Brown or black. If you want to give him a hat, well ... I don't think they have proper fedoras, have they? Only cowboy hats, as I recall.

Again, with the Indiana Jones line, they now have fedoras, but they're a little big.

Yeah, I'm not sure which color I'd use. I'm so used to seeing him in a pith helmet, lol.

Yes, go with the tie one. I like the other one better, but not for him at the mansion.

I found pics of these Vignettes and thought they were well done. It makes me want to add more detail into the rooms on my project, but that means more $$$$.

So how is this game going, Frostbyte? I'm really curious to see your progress. If you can take screenshots on your digital model, that would be really neat.

Sorry for the delay, just got back from Vegas :)

The design was put on hold because I decided I want to add more detail to the rooms than I had originally planned. The Hall is the only other room I completely finish with the original design, so I can post pics of it. But odds are good I'm going to make changes to it.

Nice

It's great work. The color choices in particular are very fine, and I like the exterior lights. What does anyone think of using paper to "wallpaper" rooms? Also, I think a suit of armor would not go amiss -- the room is very long and all the furniture is concentrated at one end -- if the southeast corner had one piece of floor that had the little pips, instead of being smooth, say a 1x2 section, that could support (and be hidden by) a set of minifig legs, and you just plunk down a knight figure there.
