I cheated twice that I can remember. The first time it wasn't really cheating though because when the solution was getting put away, one of the cards was tilted in my direction and I just happened to be glancing at them.

The other time we were all cheating, so it was a load of fun! We were all trying to see what card was being shown or what someone was scratching off. Good times!

I haven't cheated yet, although people accuse me of doing it when I win :x

Anyway, my brother insisted that he didn't cheat when this happened, but I still say he did. He was the one who put the cards into the solution envelope so...

My brother, our friend, and I were playing Clue. The game only lasted about a turn because we had to go somewhere as soon as we started playing. When a game is abruptly ended, we always make "Final Guessess" in which we all make a final accuation right there, and if you get it right, you win.

My brother guessed Mr. Green with the revclver in the Billiard Room, and he was right. I still say he cheated, unless he was very, very, very lucky.

I half cheated. My dad always lets his cards sag and i saw one. I didn't mark it down, but i remembered it.

Is this considered cheating:

If someone says, Mrs. Peacock did it in the Lounge with the Rope. And you have two cards and someone shows one, you know it was the other card, is that considered cheating if you amrk it down (i always do)

Definitely not cheating. It's a tool for those paying attention :)

Another example of paying attention would be noticing that PeachFreak didn't vote in his own poll. His Thread says he has never cheated, but of the 4 votes cast so far, none of them are "No! Never!"

It was Clue MD, when I misdealt. I dropped the Miss Peach card, and then I gave it to someone else anyway. Nobody else noticed, since I was dealer.

Oh, I hate it when cards get distinguishing marks!

My Nostalgia edition came with one such card: Mrs. White has a small spot on the back of the card that looks like the ink didn't get it all the way or something. Nevertheless, I would be the only one to notice it. So I always made sure to take the pile with the Mrs. White card so that I wouldn't be cheating. Luckily, Mrs. White has never been the killer while I played the Nostalgia game... but if she was, I still wouldn't consider that cheating since I clearly wanted to stay away from that.

I don't think I would enjoy the game if I cheated... part of the fun would be gone.

LoL! Yeah, of all cards...

I even ordered a replacement set of cards, but the new ones are all much lighter and cut funny. The borders are uneven... so I was stuck playing with the spotted card.

But since I'm getting my new Premier Edition now, I guess all that is behind me :D

Hey, I really don't think this is cheating, but do you have your own way to play Clue in which you don't follow the rulebook exactly?

In MD, I believe the rulebook says you must pass over a snoop space to see a card. I make it so that you must land on it. Correct me if I'm wrong about the rulebook.

Yeah, you're supposed to land on it, and then continue with the remainder of what you rolled. Except for the two snoop spaces by the front door. Since you can't go back the way you came, and since there's nowhere to go the other way, you might as well forfeit the remainder of your roll. That's why I never stop on those two.

I know I'm not playing by the rules, but making you have to land on it makes the game more challenging. It also prevents a suggestion and snoop on the same turn. That;s just my way of playing though...

Oh, I gotcha... you mean you have to end your turn on the snoop space?

According to the rules, it's very possible to snoop and suggest on the same turn.
