For the sake of clarity, here's some family history:

Gene Kelly married Pauline, and they had a daughter: Samantha. Gene and Pauline divorced, but Samantha remained in her mother's custody. A short while ago, Pauline got remarried to Conrad Alabaster. Needless to say, this relationship is modeled after the Peacock-Scarlet relationship from the Cluedo TV series.

I always liked the Scarlet-Peacock relationship, just not on Scarlet and Peacock

The first three episodes were basically a conclusion of loose ends from season 7 and introduction for season 8, which basically begins with ...

episode 8.04: "wheeling and dealing"
"It is my opinion that your detective stories are the normal recreation of snobbish, out-dated, life-hating, ignoble minds."

ummer has flourished unabashedly at Tudor Mansion. Green is the prevailing color
This quote made me think of the 1996 board hahaha. I'm glad to see Audrey will be returning. I miss seeing the classic characters interact.

Of course ... without murder, this entire cast would be dreadfully boring; petty at best.

How much I am back with, though, is ... uncertain. Someone recently brought to my attention that I had just dropped off mid-season, and I had some time, so I cranked out another episode. I've been developing another project, so we'll have to see which wins more of my attention.
