Clue DVD Possible Solutions

Post by Sir Shamrock » Sun Dec 22, 2019 8:12 pm

A while back I took an in-depth look at the cards of the Clue DVD game and analyzed the backs to see if there were any patterns. As it turns out with how the six icons on the backs are placed, they can form 16 different solutions. 10 of which are used in the actual game (12 if you count the 2 secret ones).

(Possible spoilers ahead)

They are as follow:
The Badges in the top left
The Pads in the top left
The Badges in the middle left
The Finger Prints in the bottom left
The Magnifying Glass in the bottom left
The Finger Prints in the top right
The Pads in the top right
The Whistles in the top right

Teehee... I think they considered an extra set but that was never made... not sure about the details.

Yes, like BBP said, I am pretty sure there was unfinished/cut content.

There WERE plans to create an expansion set - not sure if it would have included just the DVD or if it would have included a whole new set of cards. It would have been nice... thinks that can never be.

We just need to make our own mysteries with the materials provided

I've thought about creating a game of Cluedo based on the CDi versions BUT my version would (have to) be (mostly) text-based instead.
