Dr. Black looked up from the notes he was taking

"Aha!" he cried, "I think I know who did it!"

Miss Scarlet looked at the old man gone mad right before her very eyes.

"Really?" she asked.

"Yes!" he replied, "I'm almost sure it was M. Brunette!"

"Who has the missing Garden Gnome? Brunette!
Who wasn't with us when we all were in the Conservatory earlier? Brunette!
Who was in the Dining Room AFTER dinner? Brunette!
Who murderered Mrs. White? Brunette!

You almost got away with it you sneaky b@stard."

"Now, really," Mrs. Peacock responded to Dr. Black, "Do you seriously believe that Brunette could do such a thing? Granted, I can't prove he didn't, but I really don't think you're barking up the right tree here."

Mme. Rose opened her mouth to say something, but Prof. Plum butted in, "Yes, yes, we know, Rose. The blood in the Billiard Room. I was a bit embarassed to tell anyone this, but I cut myself in there. I didn't notice any wine stain there when I was in there - I guess Mrs. White cleaned it up. Either that, or the two (or more) stains overlap and we can't tell which is which...

Mrs. Peacock (and Prof. Plum) cannot disprove Brunette/Garden Gnome/Dining Room.
"Are you trying to make me look stupid in front of the other guests?"

Madame Rose still wasn't convinced. She looked to Sgt. Gray. "I don't believe him. I don't believe that man in purple really cut himself. HE'S LYING! They're all trying to cover something up! Surely you can tell for sure. Check the DNA."

[Madame Rose (Michael) CAN DISPROVE Brunette / Gnome / Dining Room]

CMustard to suggest.

"But what if Sgt. Gray's the murderer?" Mrs. Peacock asked Mme. Rose. "Then there's no telling if he'd lie or be truthful!"

"Yeah," Prof. Plum added. "I'll bet he hit Mrs. White over the head and then dragged her inside into the secret passage!"

Mrs. Peacock and Prof. Plum suggest Sgt. Gray with the Candlestick in the Gazebo.

"This is ridiculous," Sgt. Gray said looking at his watch. "Where are the police, anyway?'

A bolt of lightning struck in the distance as if in answer to his question.

"Why are you so eager for the cops to get here?" Professor Plum asked looking a little nervous.

"Because I have nothing to hide. *I* didn't do it. Did you?"

"In the billiard room!" Madame Rose exclaimed.

"With the bucket?" Professor Plum asked dryly with a condescending stare.

"I don't know, I suppose it is as you say," Miss Peach shrugged.

"Professor Plum," Lady Lavender scoffed! "That is absolutely preposterous! I do not believe it. I can't. It's just not possible that our dear, sweet Professor could ever be responsible!" She ran right to Plum's arms and stood in front of him, as if she were to protect him from anyone who tried to come near.

"How," Azure asked her? "How can you be so sure, Akira?"

"Because I . . ." then Lady Lavender realized that, not only was she being offered a way to get suspicion off her, but also the fact that she had no evidence, "I have absolutely no idea. Murderer!" Then she ran down the hall, clearly terrified of the poor Prof.

"I think she forgot to take her Zoloft today," Prince Azure explained. "Now really, I agree with Madame Rose. A bucket is really that plausable as a murder weapon, but there's no way I can prove or disprove it. Humans are fragile. But, I'm starting to think the billiard room is where Mrs. White made her, uh, last stand."

Plum/Bucket/Billiard?
Lady Lavender cannot disprove the suggestion. Prince Azure cannot disprove the suggestion.

Dr. Black looks up.

Hmmm? Wha?

"Sgt. Gray think's it's Prof. Plum with the Bucket in the Billiard Room." answers Miss Scarlet.

"Oh no, that can't be right," says Black.

Brunette woke up from his little catnap and realized that all eyes were now on him. His beady little brown eyes darted around the room, trying to find an escape. Apparently, they all thought he was the guilty party now.

"Brunette did it," Peach said, a strange sort of assurance in her voice.

"Wha-" he started, but the other guests murmurs of agreement drowned him out.

"What do you think I did? Poisoned the maid in the billiard room?"

None of the guests agreed, but they certainly didn't argue either.

"That cannot be right," Lady Lavender interjected. "I assure you. So instead, let us turn our attention elsewhere. Could it be Brunette with the poison in the drawing room?"

Lady Lavender can disprove the suggestion: Brunette, poison, billiard room.

Mrs. Peacock, after a moment, said thoughtfully, "I don't see anything to prevent it from being that..."

Sgt. Gray looked at Lady Lavender with a surprised expression. Could this woman really have solved the crime before him? He pleaded for Brunette to absolve himself...

"My my, what an interesting possible scenario. Perhaps we should interrogate him," she asked to Sgt. Grey? But getting no response, Lavender turned to the terrified Brunette. "You're right," Lady Lavender answered back gently. "You cannot be responsible. I simply noticed how high and mighty you were getting, and wanted to see you sweat, Mr. Brown. Let's get on with the investigation."

With that, Lady Lavender calmly sat down, as if she had said nothing at all.

Dr. Black crossed his frail arms and fumed.

I still think it's Brunette, with the Garden Gnome, in the Billiard Room.

PAH!

"That's ridiculous!" Prof. Plum blurted out. "I myself know that's not the case!"

Professor Plum can disprove Brunette/Garden Gnome/Billiard Room.

"By the way," Prof. Plum added after whispering some facts to Dr. Black, "Who's to say that you didn't kill Mrs. White? You could have called her to your Study quite inconspicuously to strangle her."

Professor Plum suggests Dr. Black with the Rope in the Study.
