Every year my family has a tin house village we place around the Tree. It's so depressing that these games aren't made of that

That is what they reminded me off - I was tempted to pick up the others in the line just to display the houses next to each other 1 wish they had been as well, that would have been great and a real collectors item then.

The Cluedo version doesn't seem quite as distinct in terms of who the characters are suppose to be, though that may be because I'm not all that familiar with that version.

Is the one at the top left suppose to be Mrs. Peacock or Mrs. White? (She seems to be wearing a lot of white, but maybe that's just my monitor's color settings.) And as for the other two ladies, I would assume the blonde on the far right is Miss Scarlett, but is the other female by her also dressed more in red than something closer to the pink or whatever shade they use for Orchid?
(Again, might just be my ancient monitor!)

Yeah that's just the artwork reused from the Snowy Peaks game - they are promoting that you can download this theme (and other winter themes for games like Monopoly and Life) on their twitter.

As a Christmas message from Marmalade Studios, I prefer the picture with the normal/original (and Orchid) designs as it is more obvious and direct. They should have done a holiday special edition, like an online version of the North Pole edition (I know, they aren't doing anymore themes... for now?).

Adding the North Pole theme to the Marmalade game would have been so cute

Having finally opened it this morning, it’s actually better quality than I was expecting. It certainly isn’t good quality, but it seems durable enough to last for awhile since it’ll only be considered to play in December

Too bad it didn't get a play on Christmas - we pulled it out for a game on Christmas Eve and it was pretty fun.

That's pretty funny

I'm kind of regretting not picking up the other 3 cheap holiday themed sets that Hasbro put out alongside the Clue North Pole edition... only for completest sake, but they do look nice in their house shaped packaging. Maybe I should hit up Amazon for some post Christmas sales lol

Or see if a discount store (like Five Below - website is at https://www.fivebelow.com/) still have any leftovers for sale.

Thanks for the link! Though I'm in Australia so it's probably not so easy - I didn't see any in stores here, though that doesn't mean one of the chains didn't carry that line.

I didn’t see them in stores either; I ordered mine online

Sorry for not realizing you were outside of North America.

I'm somewhat new here (joined after you apparently did) and I didn't see a location mentioned for where you are.

That's alright, I don't think there was any way for you to know :D I think i have mentioned it before but it's not a big deal, just probably wouldn't be able to buy them without going to Amazon or Ebay or something. I have to put a pin in buying them anyway, I splurged on a couple of random vintage Disney board games earlier tonight!

(I have been collecting Disney Theme Park attraction based board games (Frontierland, Adventure Land, Haunted Mansion etc, I still have a couple to pick up but they weren't what I bought, I bought some random other Disney ones instead)

I played one Disneyland board game as a kid that I'd love to get a copy of. I remember being able to travel to the different lands and drawing cards to meet characters. It had a cardboard clock to keep track of the time in game. I think it had trains too going around the perimeter of the board. I have a newer game similar to that where you race around a Disney park that is like a mashup of Disneyland and Disney World going to the rides designated on the cards you were dealt and have to be the first to ride all of your rides and leave.
