Clue Vs. ...

So do any of you prefer to play a Clue spin-off as opposed to the original game? Just curious...

Okay! I confess! I prefer my own editions over the original ones!

I find the regular game somewhat boring unless it's spiced up with some house rules. But as for spin-offs, I think Museum Caper is THE BEST! I can play it over and over and over and over...
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

i live in a house of anti-clue players (my gramma said the game is too csi-ish!) so i tend to play solo! that is why i love the computer and cell versions (clue for one!)

What type of house rules do you spice it up with, Michael?

But then think of how many games you'd have to play to get it exciting...

I play with the rule that anyone who makes a false accusation is themselves the next one killed. Their cards are turned over as public evidence.

I enjoy CLUE FX. I like finally getting outside of the mansion, and it makes for an interesting prequal. CLUE Mysteries is fun, but as a prequal to the whole story (which I believe starts with Meadow-Brook coming over to discuss the will) it doesn't hold up. Why would Inspector Brown waste so much time on these petty crimes, and why are these the only people who actually live in Hampshire (at leat a graphic of a road out of the town would've been nice). Gameply good; story bad.

I also enjoy CLUE FX on my phone. I like the option for the quick game that removes some cards; it's perfect for a quick CLUE fix and then back to whatever I was doing (usually homework). My only complaint is that you don't see anything when the other players go. it's just a blue screen with words describing to you who moved where.

I like the original games, but the 50th A. might be one of my favorites
